The soon to be released Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics is the perfect title to throw on when you have some friends over and want to chill out. Featuring a plethora of card games and a🍸ssorted minigames, it's something basically anyone can understand in seconds. In typical Nintendo fashion, though, there are some strange cavea🦩ts to playing multiplayer. Only a certain amount of games support same system competition, severely limiting the potential for pick-up-and-play that the game is meant for.

Thankfully, a nifty workaround is coming to fix that issue. Announced for Japan (and likely to hit the global eShop tomorrow), a companion app called Pocket Edition will be released for free that lets users with their own Switch systems play multiplayer together. That mea🅺ns you can call your friends over, have them download the app, and gꦡet a full game of poker going.

The main idea for the app is local multiplayer, but it will actually feature four games that you can play in single-player mode. These include Dominoes, Connect Four, Daifugo, and Slot Cars. The app will be released alongside Clubhouse Gamesꦇ tomorrow, so make 🎀sure to check the eShop if you're looking to get a game night going this week.
