Before you can get your hands on a free Aether tool, you will need one of two items available in the game:
- The Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod

The first option is probably the easiest to complete, as it only requires you to gather 500 Salvage.
However, if you’re working through the main Easter egg quest, you’ll be getting tꦯhe Staff of Ice an𒆙yway.
With either of these options, make your way to the Nexus area, where the Pack-a-Punch is located. Here, you need to find two waterfalls.
Stand in front of the green portal, and you’ll spot one waterfall to your right and one to your left.
