How To Activate The Wishing Well Easter Egg
Where To Find The Well
You can find the well early in a match in Citadelle des Morts. From the spawn area, start by unlocking the path leading to the right (east) side of the map and follow it.
Eventually, you'll reach a small plaza with a well in the middle of it. This 🌱well has two uses that can be beneficial to you an💧d your teammates.
What To Do With The Well
The first use is that you can get additional Essence by throwing a grenade inside the well. Doing so will grant you around 1,000 Essence, but this can only happen during a special round when Spiders and Parasites spawn.
The second use is that the well serves as an Essence deposit which allows your team to share Essence.
Simply approach the well and press the interact button to deposit. This will add 100 Essence with a press, but you can ho💫ld the button to deposಞit more.
This can be done in any round.
However, if you or any of your teammates want to retrieve the Essence, you'll need to wait for a special round.
During that time, throw a grenade into the well, and it will bring up all the Essence you've deposited. You can then pick it up or 𒅌pasꦐs it to a teammate for extra perks.
It has been reported that players purposely bank their Essence inside the well and wait for a Double Points roundꦛ before retrieving it to benefit from the doubled amoun🔯t, though we haven't personally tested that ourselves.
