Here's a game you can ▨play first thin꧙g in the morning.
The first Coffee Crisis came out in Feb🔴ruary 2017 for the SEGA Genesis, and was developed by Mega Cat Studios. The indie studio put it together through support from a campaign, where 213 people ♉raised $15,076 to back the project. There is no release date announced for the Collector's🌸 Edition for the PS4 yet, but you can buy the game now on the ꦉfor $9.99. When the Collector's Edition is available for purchase, it will come with the physical game, an instruction manual, an alien pin, the game's soundtrack, a set of stickers, and joystick grips.
Coffee Crisis has a really wild plot. It is about two baristas who defend the earth ꦏfrom an alien invasion, and it's narrated by a weird old dude who gives exposition between levels. The game takes place in some real life locations in and around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where Mega Cat Studios is based.
Coffee Crisis has decidedly old-school gameplay. Enemies spawn from either direction of your character, who can move in 3 dimensions. The objectives are to beat up enemies (both the invading aliens and the humans they've possessed,) and to get to the portal at the end of the level. With co-op mode, ♉you can have 2 players: one plays as Nick, the other Ashley.
One of the best things about Coffee Crisis is the amazing soundtrack. It has 12 metal tracks during game play, and calming coffee shop style jazz music that plays during the pause me💟nu. It playfully refers to pausing as a "coffee break".
Coffee Crisis came out in May 2018 for PC. It cost $9.99 on Steam, with a free demo fo💫r anyone who wants to test out the game play before purchase. The game got mixed reviews.
Some players disliked how difficult the game can be to play. Most enemies have bette🧔r weapons than you, with a longer range. Some players have reported that enemies can even spawn on top of your character. Other players, however, appreciate the retro art and the nostalgic feel, many reminded of playing in arcades or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Sega Genesis. This is a great game to play if you want to enjoy the craft: the silly story line, th🦹e fun music, and beautiful art.
