Just when y𒆙ou thought the battle royale wars were over, it appears that an𒈔other game is headed our way set in the universe of Titanfall.

Following up on numerous that were reported over the weekend, Respawn Entertainment - the studi🌞o behi꧙nd the popular Titanfall series - will be releasing Apex Legends;ꦉ a free-to-play battle royale game se♏t within the Titanfall world.

The EA/Respawn game was officially announced yesterday afternoon, when Respawn CEO Vince Zampella twee⛦ted that more details will be revealed tod💛ay at 8 AM PST during a live teaser streaꦐm, which will lead up to a full reveal of Apex Legends at 12 PM PST.

While we do not yet have all of the details, the game will reportedly be released today for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In terms of actual g꧃ameplay, players will be able to compete solo or as a team of three. Although Apex Legends will be part of the Titanfall world, players wi🌊ll apparently not be using the Titan mech suits to duke it out. Instead, players will choose from a variety of heroes and classes with powerful abilities as they battle up to sixty other players all looking to claim victory.

According to an article by , a tipster reported that the game “plays like Titanfall mixed with Overwatch and “Blackout” from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.” They were also informed of an event that EA put on last week for streamers and YouTubers, whichꦚ could be how the initial leak occurred.

While Titanfall fans are sure to be disappointed by the news that mech suits won’t be involved, it is probably best to hold off judgement until the full reveal takes place later today. It would be an interesting strate🐬gy💯 to create a game set within the world of Titanfall and not include the namesake mech suits♍. Perha🦩ps they will be a special ability or power up, or something of that nature.

At any rate, we loo𓄧k forward to seeing what the live stream has to offer. It will also be interesting to see if Apex Legends can hold its own within the saturated market ꦓof th🎉e battle royale genre.
