During your adventures in the FBC, you'll likely come across a lot of unusual things, like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Objects of Power or interdimensional beings. However, no one expected to find a murderous fridge inside the bureau, and even worse, the💧re's a poor soul that was tasked with fridge duty.
"Fridge Duty" is one of Control's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:many side missions. During this one, you'll have to aid Agent Phillip Philson, a man that has been tasked with staring at a Refrigerator Altered Item. The catch? If he stops watching the object, even just to blink, the friඣdge will "deviate." Here's everything you need to know to complete this side quest.
Where To Find The Fridge
This mission is easy to find. All you have to do is go to level four of Panopticon. Right next to the checkpoint, you'll see a cell with a fridge in the center and a man (Phillip) sitting o♔n a chair watching it.
You'll have a chance to talk to him, and he'll explain that if he looks away, he doesn't know what the fridge will do. Phillip asks you to let him out because he's getting tired and his eyes hurt. You won't be able to help the agen꧙t right away, as the only person who can op🍎en the doors is Frederick Langston.
You can find Langston on the first floor of Panopticon; he'll tell you that he totally forgot about Phillip and that the poor man has been there for over a day. Nevertheless, Langston will open the cell door for you, but not before warning Jesse that someone has to watch the fridge 24/7 or people will die.
How To Deal With The Fridge
Upon returning to the fridge's cell, you'll be able to open the door; however, before you can do anything, Phillip will scream, telling you that the fridge is "doing📖 something."
Yup, the fridge killed the agent, and now that you're inside the cell, Jesse will get hurt every time she isn't looking at the Altered Item.
The Former Boss Fight
While trying to cleanse the fridge, you'll be transported into the Astral Plane. Once there, you'll have to fight a very peculiar entity called The Former. This big thing 🍨was once a member of The Board, but something happened 🐽and it is no longer associated with that group.
The Former's boss fight is a challenging one. This being will attack Jesse with its gigantic spider legs, and it can also shoot humongous bullets at her. This thing can also make the floor below Jesse disappear (making her fall into the abyss), so during the fight, don't forget to keep looking under her feet.
During phase one of this fight, use everything you have to hit the boss' big eye; this means using the service weapon and168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Jesse's telekinesis ability to throw things at it.
In phase two, the Former will rise again, and this time it can attack Jesse using its long spider-like legs. Avoid getting hit by them as much as you can 🐬and keep shooting or tꦺhrowing things at its eye.
Phase three is very similar to the last one, but The Former seems to be shooting the big bullets at a more rapid pace. Keep throwiꦇng things at it whenever you can, and don't forget to use the pillar to protect Jesse from its attacks.
- Using telekinesis, you can actually "grab" The Former's bullets and throw them back at it.
During phase four, The Former's attacks will be more melee-focused, meaning it will try 𒉰to hurt you using its legs; it'll be difficult but try to sprint to avoid them. Just like before, keep hitting its big eye until you finally "defeat" it.
You'll know when the fight is over because you'll be transported back to the bureau. Upon your return, you'll notice the fridge is f𒊎ixed now, so go back to Langston to tell him the good news and finish the mission.
Your rewards for finishing Fridge Duty will be:
- Three Skill points
- A weapon mod (Headshot Boost)
- Two materials (Untapped Potential and Entropic Echo)
- A new side mission called "Langston's Runaways"
