Remedy has announced that Control Ultimate Edition, an all-in-one bundle of the base game and its two DLC expansions, will be hitting PC (via Steam) on August 27, 2020, and consoles on September 10, 2020. For some strange reason, the Epic Games Store won't be receiving this edition until the September date, but the AWE expansion🍒 will release on all platforms on the 🌌27th.

For console players, a physical edition will be made available for PS4 and Xbox One and will even include a free upgrade to the PS5 and Xbox Series X ports. In a not so great move, current owners of Control and its DLC on consoles will not receive the free upgrade and will need to either double dip with this package or rebuy🔯 the game on next-generation platforms.

Despite that rather crappy move, Control is definitely worthy of a purchase. If you've somehow missed out on the game, you're better off waiting for this Ultimate package. I'm not exactly sure if the DLC is worth digging into, but the upcoming second pack will begin what Remedy is calling the "Remedy Connected Universe." It might also be pointing towards an Alan Wake sequel.

At any rate, PC players that skipped out on the Epℱic release will finally be able to experience this trippy game. That's good news for t🦩his hell of a year.
