Getting a nice hot coffee to start off your day is one of life's very few pleasures. Of course, the term 'hot coffee' means something completely different for GTA San Andreas' CJ. A recent datamine has reportedly revealed that data for the infamous cancelled sex mini-game can be found within the files of GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition.
As spotted by , a couple of dataminers found these files and put them up on Twitter for all to see. Coincidentally, the Definitive Edition has been unavailable for PC players f🥃or the second day running. Rockstar noted that this was done in order to "remove files unintentionally included in these version😼s.&꧃quot; Seems like we now know what these files could be.
Back when San Andreas first came out, players discovered that after a few dates with his girlfriend, CJ would be invited over to their place for some coffee. While we only got an external view of the house along with some muffled sounds, the Hot Coffee mod not only gave you a view of what was going on inside, but also the ability to control CJ's actions via a minigame.
The 'hot coffee' controversy was a PR nightmare for Take Two, as it resulted in San Andreas being removed from a number of regions and even getting reclassified as an 'Adults Only' game. Take Two also had to cough up almost $20 million in legal costs. Rockstar eventually had to release a new version with the 'hot coffee' files fully removed.
The launch of GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition has been anything but smooth. As previously mentioned, players on PC have been unable to access the game for almost two days. “We thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to work on restoring services for the Rockstar Games Launcher and supported titles,” tweeted Rockstar at the time. While the launcher is now back, the games still remain unavailable. Perhaps Take Two is taking no chances and is making sure that each and every trace of the 'hot coffee' files have been scrubbed clean.
The Definitive Edition has also gone around 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:cleaning up shop names 🌠and other background text which were originally sexual jokes. It's not clear why this decision was taken, but the developers are clearly worried about some type of backlash.
