Players take on the role Jack, a secret agent ꦅthat has been bestowed with special powers and must stop all the mutant cookies — and their over-powered bosses — before they destroy the world. If it sounds crazy, that's because it is. The gameplay follows suit, with action that is so fast-paced and over-the-top you'll be glad it offers you the ability to slow down time. Triggering this ability makes it much easier to target your cookie-shaped enemies and send a deadly attack in their direction. It's a surprisingly entertaining game that only gets better as you master the control scheme.

The contro🐎ls are simple enough — relying on basic swipe gestures — making it easy to pull off moves straight out of The Matrix. It might take a few levels to get used to the pace of the action, but once it clicks, you'll be blasting cookies to pieces in no time. The game offers enough of a challenge without becoming frustrating and has a way of making the player feel like they can pull off any crazy maneuver they want.

Cookies Must Die's fantastic artwork is easy to look at, especially when the particle effects start kicking in as you blast those evil cookies to smithereens. Since the game's pacing is incredibly fast, you'll have to get used to seeing bits of cookie flying across the screen at all times. Without the slow-motion feature, it would be nearly impossible to see what's going on. Regardless, the action is always a treat to look at and fits perfectly with the crazy tone ﷽the game is trying to achieve.

Cookies Must Die ܫis now available on an🧸d devices. The game is free to purchase but does include microtransactions for premium currency and in-game items.
