168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cooking Mama: Cookstar publisher Planet Entertainment has issued a statement addressing the controversial release of the game. This comes hot on the heels of Cooking Mama license holder Office Create accusing the publisher of releasing Cookstar without their permission.

In a statement , Planet deniesꦉ allegations that they put out the game without Office Create's permission:

By contract, Planet is fully within its rights to publish Cooking Mama Cookstar. There is no active litigation or ruling that prevents Planet from publishing the game.

It's worth noting that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:🦩this goes directly against Office Cꦍreate's claims. The Japanese developer claimed that they severed the contract on March 30, and that by doing so, they voided Planet's right to sell the game. They also mentioned potential legal action against🀅 Plan🏅et in their press release, but if this latest statement is anything to go off of, that hasn't come to fruition yet.

Planet has also shed some light on the licensing and development process surrounding Cookstar:

Office Create, the rights holder to Cooking Mama, approved a detailed game design in 2019. 1st Playable [...] and Planet followed the exact approved design. That design is the exact game on Nintendo Switch which also includes many additional Office Create suggestions which add gameplay value.

Unfortunately, creative differences arose as Cooking Mama Cookstar was near completion that were outside the scope of our agreement and the game design approved by Office Create.

There are two curious details here. First, Office Create alleged that they commissioned the latest Cooking Mama game in August of 2018. Planet's statement goes against th﷽is, stating that the process began in 2019. This makes one wonder just how long this game has been in development.

Secondly, Planet's phrasing of the development process is curious. Essentially, they're saying that the Cookstar made ✅available to the public was the exact same one approved by Office Create at one point. However, they're also stating that "creative differences" hampered the relationship between the two companies, and that those differences fell well outside the scope of the original agreement.

Planet, then, is deferring to that original agreement here when it comes to their publishing rights. They're stating that Office Create's new requests were so different from the original project that Planet didn't see fit to include them. Without seeing the original agreement or knowing what direction Office Create wanted t💝o take the game, it's impossible to kno💝w who's in the right here.

Where this leaves us, for now, is at a bit of an impasse. Office Create and Planet Entertainment have made very different statements, both of which contradict each other on more than a few accounts. Without any clarification from any involved parties, this leaves the case of Cooking Mama: Cookstar's troubled release wide open.
