It’s two hours into your shift. You’re still scrambling to put together some borscht when an order for salmon steak and boiled potatoes comes up. You reach for the ladle, knocking over the pot, borscht cascading onto the floor. In the chaos, you don’t notice the baked trout burning in the oven. This is not the best experience you’ve had playing 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cooking Simulator.
But perhaps it could have been avoided. Perks are made available to you as you progress, many of them potentially being the key to avoiding this theoretical kitchen nightmare. But with a limited number of available perk slots, you’re stuck with a hard choice: which ones do y🍬o༺u get?
7 ꦑ Time Rewinder
Time Rewinder Perk Ability |
|
Once per day, reset the timer of an active order. |
Time is t🍃he dominant stressor of Cooking Simulator. When time is limited and the cooking process is rushed, mistakes start happening and the quality of your dishes suffers. Time Rewinder acts as your saving grace to this problem. Are orders overlapping in a bad way? Did you mess up that steak and need to remake it? Maybe you simply want to get the best realization time for that dish.
When it comes to numbers, this perk outshines its counterpart, Time Enhancer. With the right skills, a fully refreshed order timer can ‘restore’ over nine minutes of extra time. Compared to the ‘one minute each order&rs꧒quo; that the oth꧒er gives you.
Playing the game in 'Relaxed Mode' removes timers from orders, allowing you to play at your own pace. As you can imagine, playing this way nullifies the need for this particular perk.
6 💦 Reroll Orꦬder
Reroll Order Perk Ability |
|
Once per day, replace a🤡n active order with a ꧂random one. |
Doing something you wouldn’t prefer doing is an inherent part of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:doing any job. Sure, you love cooking. ♎But do you really want to put together yet another fruit salad? Wouldn’t it be nice if it suddenly♋ became the far more convenient gazpacho, instead? That’s the beauty of the Reroll Order perk.
Like any game mechanic that features a set of dice for an icon, there’s a certain risk-reward ratio to this one. Replacing the grilled lobster tail in white wine with the lobster tail cooked in white wine hardly changes much, does it? And depending on the scope of your menu, it could even become an🐻 even more complicated and inconvenient order.
5 Fairy Tou💧ch
Fairy Touch Perk Ability |
|
Grants a magic wan♊d that remꦡoves all stains and shards. |
Generally speaking, it’s fairly easy to keep a clean kitchen in Cooking Simulator. With consistently clean dishes and no concern for cross-contamination, cleanliness is a rather small consideration. What messes you make can be cleaned up with relative ease. That’s not what makes this perk so valuable. It’s when the doors on your fridge explode off the hinges and some mystery smudge coats the entire larder. After a good 12 minutes of sponging, you’ll be wishi🌺ng you had this ma🌱gic wand.
But that’s not its only benefit. You’re given a decent amount of time at the end of each day to clean up after yourself. When cleaning on𒀰ly takes a swish and a flick, the rest of that time can then be spent preparing for future dishes. Maybe with all of that extra time, you can prepare a fruit salad after all.
4 🌌 Lonꦉg Reach
Long Reach Perk Ability |
|
Longer reach wh🐲en picking up and putting down i🍌tems. |
If there’s anything to be learned from Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away, it's that the Boiler Geezer had it right: Work is easier when you never have to move. While this perk doesn't exactly give you six arms to work with, it does grant you that lengthy grabbing range he’s privy to.
There is a genuine convenience to the range this perk provides. With the shape of the game’s default kitchen, it’s tremendously easy to accidentally leave spices or other ingredients across the central island. With this perk, you can reach almost entirely across, saving you from the ha🐟ssle of having to walk around. Additionally, you’ll be able to comfortably reach the stove section and that side of the island without having to move.
3 ღ 🧸 Thermal Vision
Thermal Vision Perk Ability |
|
Learn the temperature of ingred🅺ients in a closed🌃 oven. |
In the real world, opening the oven door is one of the most disorienting inconveniences of cooking. The bombardment of heat to the face aside, any glasses-wearing individuals will h༺ave their visibility replaced by a personal blindfold of fogged glass. Counter-intuitive, really, since looking at the dish is why you’re opening the oven door in the first place.
While Cooking Simulator does away with these real-world hassles, it doesn't make observing the food itself any easier. But with Thermal Vision, that too can be resolved. With one of the first recipes you know involves oven baking, this particular perk will save you countless instances of having to run over and open the door to check how cooked something is.
2 ♔ Heat Pro🅰of Gloves
Heat Proof Gloves Perk Ability |
|
Once per day, reset the timer of an active order. |
If you can’t h✱andle the heat, get out of the kitchen. The only room in the game is the kitchen, though. So 🦩you only have one choice: get the Heat Proof Gloves perk. Without it, most freshly cooked food items will need to be set on a plate or carried with a special utensil to be moved.
Besides, when you’re seconds away from burning a trout in the oven, you don't have time to go get a transfer plate. Like the chaotic food-goblin that you are, you just grab that burning fish with your bare hands. This perk brings that animalis♊tic urge to life, saving you an often recurring and inconvenient step in the process.
1 ♎ ♏ Steady Hands
Steady Hands Perk Ability |
|
Hold down [key binding] to freeze ite⛦ms in place while cutting. |
There’s a reason that this is the only perk that the game recommends for new players. Cooking requires accu❀racy, and that can🏅not be achieved when you’re trying to evenly cut various ingredients one-handed. By freezing the items in place, we get the digital equivalent to holding it one with one hand and cutting with the other, ensuring accurate and precise portions.
With so many dishes requiring things to be cut into quarters, this one is the only ‘absolute must’ for any aspiring chef. Know that it's not infallible, however. More precise dishes, requiring an ingredient to be cut into several sized of an exact gram, wiꦏll still prove difficult. But with this, it can at least be a little less difficult.
