168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Core Keeper doesn't follow a traditional formula when it comes to essential encounters. Much like the game Terraria, there isn't much direction except to get stronger and get better gear so that you can progress further. The regions in the game are pretty expansive with few clues as to what they include until you reach them.
This requires you to be at a certain stage before you can advance, which can lead to you fighting some very dangerous enemies and bosses hiding in the dark parts of the map. Keep exploring, and you'll eventually run into the blob-like Ivy The Poisonous Mass.
Note: As Core Keeper is still in Early Access, the information in this guide is subject to change.
What And Where Is Ivy?
Slimes and blob enemies are a common feature in RPG games and typically serve as fodder enemies to help get some easy experience. However, they can come in several varieties with some being more dangerous than others.
One such variant in Core Keeper is the Purple Slimes which secrete a poison that reduces the effectiveness of healing and can be found swarming the giant Purple Slime that is Ivy The Poisonous Mass. This large blob can be found in Azeos' Wilderness with telltale signs being the overwhelming presence of purple slime trails.
How To Defeat Ivy
The good news is that Ivy is a fairly simple boss. Its main method of hurting you is through contact damage. It does this by bouncing around the area and attempting to crush you. What makes Ivy dangerous, however, is that it will actively pursue you as long as you're in its lair. It can leap quite far and indicates its leap by glowing briefly. As long as you keep moving, you'll be able to avoid getting hit. Still, this can be tricky as the purple slime will slow you down when you're in it, so bring somಌ🐻e speed buffs to counteract the effects.
Ivy's other attack is a ranged move. Every few leaps Ivy will start pulsating, and red indicators will appear around the area. This is followed by purple projectiles falling from the sky and bursting on impact. Though Ivy summons a decent number of them, you'll have plenty of time to get out of the way. Be warned though that this attack will summon additional Purple Slimes to fight alongside Ivy.
The More, The Slimier
This can be a problem since Ivy's lair tends to be on the smaller side and covered in slime. It's easy for its attacks to lead to several slimes appearing and swarming you. Before attacking Ivy, try to eliminate any Purple Slimes to give yourself some breathing room. Ivy is always vulnerable to attack, so you can strike whenever it's in range. It's most vulnerable right after it lands and when it's using the purple hail attack. Ivy has a large hit-box ✱so be﷽ careful not to run into it when going in to attack or use a ranged weapon to keep yourself in relative safety.
During the fight, be careful not to go too far outside the area or Ivy will return to the center and start healing. When defeated, Ivy drops a 🍌large chest full of goodies.
