The Cosmodrome is returning to Destiny 2 this fall with the coming Beyond Light expansion.
Yesterday was filled with surprises for Destiny 2 fans. We not only found out more about the fall expansion, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Beyond Light, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:but also 20ꦬ21 and 2022’s expansions as well. There was also another surprise announcement: the Cosmodrome is returning to Destiny 2.
Original Destiny fans will fondly remember the Cosmodrome as their first taste of what Destiny had to offer. The original starting area of the game, the Cosmodrome introduced new Guardians to Destiny’s grim and desperate world. Abandoned and rusted cars littered the area leading up to the Cosmodrome to remind players that this was the scene of humanity’s most desperate hours as thousands attempted to escape Earth on waitin🎐g colony s༺hips, only to be snuffed out with the arrival of the Darkness.
It’s also the scene where Guardia💙ns first met their Ghost and murdered their first Fall🥀en dredg. Ah, memories.
The Cosmodrome’s return isn’t going to be entirely without sacrifice. Bungie has made it clear that Destiny 2 is reaching the limits of what it can contain, and just adding more and more content would make the whole thing collapse. In order to make way for the Cosmodrome and Europa with Beyond Light, several current destinations are leaving along with al🔯l their associated acti🅠vities. That includes Io, Titan, Mars, Mercury, aꦗnd the Leviathan--all will be stored in the Destiny Content Vault, perhaps returning later when Destiny’s story permits.
In the meantime, the Cosmodrome arrives with Beyond Light on September 22, but it won’t be fully formed on arrival. Parts of the Cosmodrome will be missing, and only one strike will be available. The rest of the Cosmodrome and its remaining two strikes will arrive later in Season 13, with the Vault of Glass raid set to return later in th𒅌e year.
