Now that mobile gaming is gaining ground as a legitimate platform, mobile-friendly accessories are on the rise. Attachments that give the phone controller-style inputs help with games like or . Table stands all🐠ow us to look at our tablets at a comfortable angle as we game. Along with these peripherals come gaming headsets that aim to also be good headphones. The Cougar Attila is a prime example of this trend. It combines the sound quality of an affordable gaming headset with the minimalistic design of in-ear♏ headphones.
The Smallest Gaming Headset
Whenever we hear the words "gaming headset," we're often inclined to think of a bulky pair of over-ear things with large amounts of padding. Cougar challenges this notion by shaping the Attila as a simple pair of earbuds - well, a thicker pair of simple earbuds, at any rate. The♑ Attila pack graphene diaphragm drivers into their buds, with thick foam tips that can actually compress and re-sh𒉰ape to fit the ear comfortably. There's also a silicon "ear hook" that aligns with your inner ear to further ensure the earbuds don't drop out.
Finally, there are two🅷 microphones. You can see the detachable noise-canceling mic in the picture. Like with many other gaming headsets, it sits on the left side and can be bent to be 𓆏where you want it to be. There's also an in-line mic within the volume control dongle - that's the one you'll probably use for phone calls while you walk.
I've admitted before that I'm not much of an audiophile. I can't speak technically on the sound quality of the headphones or if the small detachable mic is formidable. What I can say is that I tested the Attila with a variety of devices. I used them to listen to music while I worked, I talked on the phone, and I played games. Every time I could hear the sound clearly. My phone calls heard me well enough, as did my gaming buddies. Most importantly (to me at least), the Attila are comfortable. I tend to dislike ea🌊rbuds because they bother the inside of my ears after a while. The foam used in the Attila really is of better quality. That alone makes them superior to a lot of other earbuds I've tried in the past.
Take A Walk
In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:other reviews, I mentioned my quest for headphones that do it all. It seems that Cougar had the same idea. The Attila serves me well as my primary earbuds. I use them when I write, and I take them to the gym. When I'm playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, I stick with my over-ear headset. That's still my pref😼erence for console gaming. When I'm playing Nintendo Switch in bed𓆏, however, I slip in the Attila.
At $39.99, the Cougar Attila are not meant to take on the biggest and baddest gaming headsets. They were made for the people who play PUBG Mobile, switch over to their laptop to do homework, then listen to musi⛄c on the bus ride home. They just also happen to work with consoles if you need them to. If you're looking for a pair of mid-grade earbuds, you can't go wrong with these.
Cougar proviꦿded TheGamer a pair of the Cougar Attila for this review. They're available now from most online tech retailers.
