Find And Burn Ancient Relics
This is the obvious answer. Just grind for relics every day to reach your goal by finding relics around the island. Whatever you find underneath that X-marks-the-spot, take it to Flamey and burn it like you would any other food item. This turns it into relic ash. To do this, you need a dowsing rod, given to you by Jeremy Gruffle.
You don't need to equip the dowsing rod to use it, since it will shake in your inventory when you get closer to a spirit well, but it's easier when equipped. With the dowsing rod in your hand, a frost or flame will show above the rod's icon. This will indicate how hot or cold you are to a spirit well that will have a relic for you and how you find relics in Cozy Grove. Once the flame is at its largest, an X should appear. All you have to do is press the interact button at the X.

This is a tactic many players may not know about or may not want to risk. Spirit birds and deer sell for relic ash. If you have a ton of birds in a pet farm and little to no relic ash, you may want to get rid of some ꧅of those birds for a greater purpose. Young spirit birds only sell for one relic ash at Mr. Kit🌼. Adult birds sell for two relic ash.
