Like any other platformer worth its weight in hard drive space, the levels are chock full of little secrets and tidbits. The ten secrets listed below point out both 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:hidden Easter eggs and things needed to obtain all the collectibles. Like the original trilogy, some of these are obtuse, making one wonde꧂r how anybody figured these things out without a guide or walkthrough.

10 Red Gem

This one is probably 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the easiest of the colored gems to discover. In "N. Sanity Peak" before reaching the mask, there are several platforms which rhythmically appear and reappear. Right outside this room ༒is a carving with arrows and squares which detail the proper order to jump on these platforms in order to unlock the red gem. Fewer colored gems exist than in the past, but they are all harder to obtain than usual.

9 Lo-Lo

While this title mostly ignores the The Wrath of Cortex, the evil elementals receive some love and attention in cameo appearances. In the level "Blast to the💜 Past," Lo-Lo, the wind elemental, shows up in the bonus sequence. Right at the start of the segment, the elemental's face is carved into a tree. One wonders if Crunch will make another appearance if the series receives another sequel.

Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back introduces a unique method of obtaining the blue gem. Players must complete the level "Turtle Woꦚods" without breaking a single box in order to earn this special gem. The new game carries on this tradition by making players complete "Draggin' On" without destroying a box. Unfortunately, the level is significantly harder and longer than "Turtle Woods," making this gem exponentially difficult to obtain.

6 Shutting The Bosses Up ꦡ

Each set of levels generally has the player making their way towards a villain, culminating in a boss battle. During the levels, the upcoming boss will typically comedically taunt the player⭕. If anybody wants to shut them up, simply spin the speaker or other apparatus they are using to communicate with Crash and Coco. One typically shoul🍬d avoid this, since their rants are often amusing, but there is a trophy for doing it at least once.

5 💦 Evil Twins Cameo

Crash Bandicoot: Twinsanity was heavily flawed, but had surprisingly funny writing for a 2004 PlayStation 2 game. Crash and Cortex had to work together in an uneasy alliance to take out a pair of evil twins. While these characters have been out of the limelight since then, the new game pays tribute to them in the "Out for Launch" level. During the level their image is projected onto a screen on the side of t🐟he main path.

4 Old Tawna

Tawna was introduced in the first Crash Bandicoot and was largely forgotten afterwards. Her design was a little much for a 1996 PlayStation game aimed at children. The character returns in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time with a significant redesign and her own levels. The old Tawna still shows up in a ti🎃ny cameo however. The end of th📖e first level's bonus stage has a couch where one of the pillows displays the old Tawna's face.

3 Green Gem

"Off Beat" is a particularly notable level for ꦬthe great music and how the level interacts with the score. Enemy attacks us꧅ually add to the song playing in the background and Crash sometimes jumps on musical instruments and makes music while running across them. The floats in the back pay homage to a number of character in the series, including Fake Crash. Additionally, spinning the dumpsters also make cats screech.

1 Yellow Gem 🐽

"Run it Bayou" includes the yellow gem near the beginning of🐼 the level. Instead of going onto the jet ski, go to the right and jump on the platforms and boxes in the water to reach a platform where four boxes are resting. Jump on the box and hold the jump button with a double jump at the top height to nab the yellow gem, which is floating just off screen. It is probably the easiest of the ones to obtain once the p♔layer knows it is in the level.
