Between deserts, islands, and swamps, among many particular and interesting locations based on Crash 4, which of these nine available maps is the best place to Rumble? Let's find out in our list below.

Updated on August 26, 2023, by Lucas Olah: As you'd expect from a live-service game, Crash Team Rumble has a new map with quite a unique layout and style behind it, as we'll get into later. Season One has been going for a while, with a new map, power, and two playable characters, and this map - along with all new additions - is highly welcomed. Thus, it is time to analyze Bogged Down and how it fits with the rest of the maps in the game.

10 💮 Rusted Refinery

All maps are extremely entertaining, this one included, but someone has to be at the bottom of a Ranked list. There are a few hazards in the form of hot pipes scattered around, so you have to be more careful on this map. The explosive jump and fire turrets are both fun and useful, and the Gems' positioning allows for some intense moments against the enemy team.

Lastly, you can throw your enemies up in the air with a sandstorm. It's not that difficult to dodge it sadly, but the other Relic Stations still make this map interesting to play in.

9 🤪 Ser♔enity Gardens

Another big map, this one is highly entertaining due to the chaotic nature of Akano, one of the Relics here. The area allows for a lot of vertical movement, being an easy way around for characters such as Catbat or N. Tropy.

Akano, as mentioned, is a fun Relic due to how strong the extra punch is, helping nearly anyone deal with Blockers. The Bonsai is also extremely useful, albeit not the most interesting of Epic Relics. Still, its Wumpa boost can make a differen▨ce, especially with Akano protecting you on your way to the bank.

8 Just Beachy ꦏ

This map doesn't have many high places, allowing you to see most of what's going on wherever you are, making things easy for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:quick characters like Coco. The Gem clusters are also trickier here due to their positioning, creating some of the most intense fights compared to other maps. And it's just fun to roll over everybody with a beach ball.

A second bank to store Wumpa doesn't sound as cool as other Epic Relic Stations, but it is one of the most useful. Having two places to score is just that good, especially if the other team's blockers dominate your main bank.

7 𝓀 Surreal Summit

Though this map is small, all its platforms and verticality will make it see🎃m big. The Gem platforms are also the main path to go upwards, where yet another Gem cluster is, making the fights𒅌 over them tough. If you conquer them all, you can get a 100 percent Wumpa boost here.

The Relic Stations are a bit more situational. Ika Ika can make life easier, and the Dragons can catch enemies off-guard, but this map is one where Relics don't influence the outcome that much if compared to the other locations in the game.

6 C🧜alamity Canyon

The Canyon offers many tricks to pull on the other team. You can shield banks preventing the other team from getting on them, for example, and nothing stops you from shielding their bank, so they can't get on their own base to score points without some intense Parkour.

You can get a powerful bonus if you dominate all gems too. Oxide isn't as powerful, though; most characters can easily evade him as long as they're always on the move.

5 N. Sanity Caverns ♚ ꦜ

This map has similar features to Surreal Summit in both overall size, Gem clusters helping with traversal, and the possibility of getting a 100 percent boost. What makes this area more interesting is mainly i🔯ts Relics.

You can turn invisible with Lani Loli — though attacking will make you temporarily visible again — and the Guardian makes you resistant to being knocked away. Particularly useful to dominate the arena or to get annoying Blockers away from your bank. Oh, and activating the Guardian makes you bigger and gives you more health — you can even use it to save yourself if you're low on health.

4 City Scrape 🍨

Careful not to fall here. Not only is this another big area with a lot of vertical platforming, but the entire map is also suspended in the air, meaning there are a lot of places to fall around here. Gem 𓄧clusters also offer a good way around the map, so they might be even more contested simply because someone uses them for traversing.

Plasma turrets and Kapuna Wa are amazing Relics; turrets can be♔ quite the nuisance for the enemies — especially if you activate one near their bank — and being faster is always good. The TNT Drones are quite easy to avoid, though. Still, be careful: they cause a lot of damage.

Powers that summon big things, such as the Flytrap or Gasmoxian Guards, can tank the TNT drones for you, and they don't take damage from the explosions!

3 Bogged 🥂Down

Bogged Down, a map from Crash Team Rumble

Bogged Down is based on the swamp areas of Crash 4, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:such as Dingodile's intro level Home Cookin'. This map offers extraordinary mechanics that make it stand out, such as boxes and relics on the water. Just note that you'll die if you fall into because Crash characters can't swim - except for water levels, apparently - ensuring it is difficult to collect the box and return without dying.

The main Relic Station, Bouncing Bubble, lets you bounce on the water, making it work brilliantly on the map. The Epic Relic is a bat with lots of Wumpa, which you need to help reach your bank - imagine a payload from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Overwatch. It's a bit risky because the enemy team can kill the bat, but it's a lot of Wumpa. Either way, it makes this map as unique as it is in a game where map variety is pretty good to begin with.

2 🍃 Tar Va🧸lley

A panoramic view of Tar Valley, a map from Crash Team Rumble

Tar Valley is a much smaller and condensed area, being quite the anti𝔍thesis compared to the other locations. However, a smaller space makes fighting more pre🍒dominant, unleashing chaos throughout the arena.

Its Relics aren't that aggressive either; the Shrooms are not difficult to deal with, being more than a nuisance. However, this map has Aku Aku as an Epic Station, and he's one of the most useful and fun to use. You can get to N. Sane speeds here, especially if your character is already naturally fast, like Coco, Cortex, or Tawna.

1 🐽 ꦡ Tiki Towers

A panoramic view of Tiki Towers, a map from Crash Team Rumble

Not only the Island aesthetic is just fitting for Crash, but this map is full of possibilities. You have enough Gem clusters to get a 100 percent boost on your Wumpa collection, offering a lot of fighting on them, and you don't have powerful Relic Stations here, offering an interesting contrast compared to other maps. Still, bombardment can be helpful against Blockers stacked on your bank.

And, of course, that doesn't apply to the Epic Relic Station here, Uka Uka. He's by far one of the most destructive Stations in the overall game, and since the other options aren't as strong, most teams will likely do their best to get him.
