Notably, the Indian National Cricket teams and players are missing from Cricket 22, as well as the real teams in the Indian Premier League. Teams That Are Included In The Base Game
The following real teams and leagues do have liceඣnses in Cricket 22, and you don’t need to download these through the community:
- The national teams of England, Australia, West Indies, Ireland, and New Zealand. Real Stadiums from England, Australia, and the West Indies are also included in the game.
- Both the Men’s and Women’s Ashes have unique licensed features.
- All Australian state/franchise domestic sides and competitions, including the Big Bash and Women’s Big Bash.
- England’s Hundred franchise tournament for both men and women.
- The Caribbean Premier League.
How To Download Real Players And Teams From The Community
While you can go into the customization tools yourself to make edits, the game's community has already provided many of the most popular missing teams and players; and it is really easy to automatically install the best community-rated versions in-game.
Simply go to Create tab in the main menu. Go to Team Manager. Press Y/Triangle/ X Key when you’ve highlighted your chosen team, then select Replace With Best. The game will automatically downloa𝕴d and replace it and the player roster.
You can replace all the teams in each ‘league’ with the best ones as rated by the community as well, by hitting Replace All.
Below are some useful notes that you should keep in mind while🌠 downloading new teams.
- Replacing all can take a long time even if you have a fast connection (all men’s international teams will take around ten minutes on a 60mb/s connection) and there’s no way of pausing the download or downloading it in the background.
- You’ll need to press Y/Triangle/X Key occasionally to accept overwriting of all players or logos. The game should remember what you selected, but sometimes it doesn’t, so keep an eye on the process. You don’t want to walk off and do something else, only to find that the game needed you to press a button, making you wait all over again.
- These are all community-made teams and the quality can be variable. While popular teams such as India have been recreated excellently, we still await proper versions of teams in some lesser-known nations and leagues.
Downloading Real Stadiums And Grounds
The Replace With Best option should download a smattering of community-made stadiums for each team, but you can also find a host of real stadiums by selecting Browse Community in the Create menu, then changing the search type to stadiums.
Again, these vary in quality and de🎶sign – but can be far more immersive than some of the game&rsquo🌜;s generic stadia.
