On Thursday, three-time CDL world champion Ian “Crimsix” Porter defended Daniel "Loony" Loza after Kristopher Kalhs and Spencer Chaisson, the hosts of the CAEsports podcast, criticized the Seattle ⛄Surge for signing Loony.

The 27-year-old professional gamer was signed to the Seattle esports team along with Peirce "Gunless" Hillman and Preston "Prestinni" Sanderson for the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:2021 CDL season. Loony had previously played for the Toronto Ultra in the inaugural season of the CDL. Kalhs and Chaisson believe he didn’t deserve a spo💦t on his new team since they considered that his performance in Toronto𓃲 had been underwhelming.

Crimsix also challenged Ultra’s treatment of its roster during the inaugural season, claiming that the organization had forced its players to stay in Toronto during 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the COVID-19 pandemicಞ, “threatening to not pay non-starters if they went home.” He also alleged that Brack, a substitute player on the team, had to fight to be allowed to return home for his grandfather’s open-heart surgery.

Brack, who responded to Crimsix’s claims, says he was never paid him for the month he returned home and that Ultra has significantly harmed his career. Crimsix also referred to rumors that Ultra has demanded a 50/50 prize winnings split with its roster during the 2021 season despite “underpay꧙ing” its players. Crimsix ended his Twitter thread by saying that Toronto is “one of the most anti-player organizations I’ve ever seen.”

Although the CAEsports podcast hosts stood by their statements, saying that the players and the organization agreed to a contract, Crimsix rejected this explanation, claiming that Ultra🐻 “deceived and li🐟ed” to its players and contractually obligated them to stay. He also added that all CDL contracts stipulate that organizations can’t force players to live in a required location to get paid. Ultra has yet to comment on the accusations.

A number of fans and former teammates also voiced their support of Loony, including Dillon "Attach" Price, who recently joined the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Minnesota RØKKR. The 2015 World Champion says that Loony is one of the best teammates he has ever ha♔d.
