The growing relationship between Microsoft and Nintendo has led to speculation that a representative from the Xbox brand could be chosen as a DLC character in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with the most popular choices being Master Chief from the Halo franchise, Steve from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Minecraft, or Banjo & Kazooie.
There is at least one developer in the industry who wants to see their character added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and that's Jared Moldenhauer, who is the co-creator of Cuphead, which is now being ported to the Nintendo Switch.

Moldenhauer spoke to about how he wants to see Cuphead and Mugman in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
"I’ve dreamed of Smash Bros," said Moldenhauer. "[Cuphead and Mugman] belong in there. So basically if fans want it, I couldn’t see how Nintendo wouldn’t want the fans to get what they wanted. I think they would because they support their fans a lot . . . So if Nintendo was keeping their fans happy, then I’d be more than pleased to make that the easiest transition. Just a piece of paper, we don’t need anything. You can have those characters make an appearance."
Moldenhauer was also ask☂ed about which characters he would most like to see take on Cuphead and Mugman.
"Maybe just Ice Climbers? Like a two versus two. I’ve been [playing] a lot of the NES mini, and it’s not my favorite game. That's why Ice Climbers came up because it’s like 'Well, that one isn’t fun,' so I kind of want to take those characters and then demolish them."
Masahiro Sakurai has already stated that the remaining DLC characters for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate have all been chosen, but there is still a possibility that more could be added in the future. The Nintendo Switch is still in the early stages of its lifespan and we could potentially see more Fighters🍰 Passes being released outside of the one that has been revealed so far.
There are plenty of other Microsoft representatives that fans would love to see in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate over Cuphead, but there are issues related to🤡 permissions and rights that could stand in their way. Cuphead and Mugman might make it in based solely on ꦑthe zeal of their creator.
Cuphead is due🌠 to be released for the Nintendo Switch on April 18, 2019.
