One Cyberpunk 2077 fan correctly predicted the game's final release date almost two years ago - almost an entire year before CD Proj🐼ekt Red ever mentioned that it was going to be delayed.

With just over a week until Cyberpunk 2077 finally launches♎, the fan took to  yesterday in order to share the details of their earlier prediction.

"So in a weird turn of events, I ended up calling the actual release date two years ago," wrote a Redditor named jamezito. "If you guys go back on some of the earlier Cyberpunk 2077 videos from 2018, there is a part that shows the character creation screen. This also showed the de🌸fault V's original birthday is coincidentally December 10th lol."

Cyberpunk 2077 release date

The original prediction comes from a Reddit comment posted February 28, 2019, in which jamezito wrote: "My only other guess would be 10th o൩f December (V's original birthday) and same numbers on the Cupid pic, which would fall on a Tuesday. I just can't wait man..."

The post in question had to do with Cyberpunk 2077 being listed for E3 2019. Two potential release dates were included, but were quickly debunked because one was on a Saturday and the other fell on a Wednesday, Typically games launch on a Tuesday or Friday - although it's worth noting that Cyberpunk 2077's final release date, December 10, is a Th🎀ursday.

It's worth noting that jamezito got the day and month right, but was a year ea♏rly. Although their more recent post claims that they correctly pღredicted the new release date, they were definitely talking about December 10, 2019. When another Redditor responded saying, "How about July 7, 2020," jamezito responded by saying:

"Nooo that's too far away lol"

If only they knew...

Cyberpunk 2077 is due to launch on December 10, 2020 - and don't worry, CD Projekt Red recently toꦗld investors that this is the final release date, meaning that there will be no more delays. It will be available to purchase for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Google Stadia🦋.
