It’s made even funnier when you stop to consid👍er how non-lethal takedowns are achieved. I think so long as the final blow is dealt by a non-lethal melee weapon, firearm, or hack, your victory will be considered non-lethal. This goes for key characters and random chooms, and you can tell depending on whether they become lifeless corpses or start writhing on the floor in agony after you’ve blown the shit out of them. My first attempt at the non-lethal approach resulted in a redneck mechanic backing into a bunch of explosive barrels he fell into before burning to death. But after that, things started to look up as I embraced my magical throwing knife and its ability to maim and heal whoever is fortunate enough to have it yeeted directly at their craniums.
It doesn🧜’t need to make total sense if I’m being honest, although a bit of clarity about my magical knife throwing skills wouldn’t go unappreciated. Since despite all its improvements to combat and exploration, opting for the non-lethal route in Cyberpunk 2077 still requires more trial and error than I’d like.
