In the mission Search and Destroy, you have the opportunity to save Takemura, though it's not obvious where he is or that it's even an option. Since the loyal Arasaka bodyguard would do the same for you, here's how to pull him out of a tight situation and what will change if you do.
How To Start Search And Destroy
This mission will begin sometime after finishing 'Play It Safe,' as Takemura calls you to an abandoned building where he'll be hiding with Hanako Arasaka. As it turns out, he just shot a tranquilizer dart during the last mission and took her to a safe house so you could tell her the truth behind her father's murder.
However, before you get to talk for too long you will hear some noise, and the safehouse will be attacked by Arasaka soldiers and Adam Smasher, who will take Hanako away.
Should You Rescue Takemura?
The cutscene will finish after you fall through a hole in the ground to the floor below, and here you will have two options, although the game doesn't warn you about them:
- You can escape the building to safety and continue your journey as it is.
- You can go back to the upper floor to rescue Takemura and escape alongside him.
If you decide to save Takemura, you'll need to battle through Arasaka goons up two flights of stairs, and once you meet him you will also need to shoot your way out of the building. However, once you two get out your Relic will malfunction, and Takemura will suggest you two separate to have better chances.
If you decide to leave Takemura, he won't play a part in the story anymore, but if you choose to save him, he'll show up 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:during the epilogue of the 🏅Hanako-related ending.
There will be a fast-forward sequence and you'll reappear with Johnny in a far away motel, hiding from Arasaka until a stranger knocks on your door. Open up to receive a message from Hanako, and then you must go back to your life as a mercenary 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:until she calls you to th🐻e Embers club.
