168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cyberpunk 2077's long-awaited 2.0 update is finally here, and fans are diving into the game to see exactly what changes CD Projekt Red has made to the base game. A big deal was made about the game's new vehicular combat, perk systems, and all the other transformative changes that have made their way to Cyberpunk 2077, but fans have already found a lovely little new addition that references anime spinoff Edgerunners. Be warned, there are Edgerunners spoilers incoming.

First spotted by Twitter user SynthPotato, if you head on over to North Oak in Westbrook once you get to Night City, you could end up stumbling across a touching memorial to David Martinez from Edgerunners. Those who have w🦹atched the anime will know David is brtually killed by Adam Smasher, so CD Projekt Red has decided to tug on all of our heart strings by clearing a bit of space to include a grave site for him.

Not only that, but the memorial gets even more tear-inducing when you check out the description. It reads "You didn't take me to the moon, but you were there with me", which implies it was Lucy that set up the memorial for David. Not a dry eye in the house.

It should be no surprise that Cyberpunk 207 has acknowledged Edgerunners so readily. For starters, they're set in the same universe, so the actions of David, Lucy, and the rest of the gang would obviously have been felt in Night City. Secondly, the anime was incredibly popular when it first released, bringing a lot more people to the series who may have skipped out on the game. For those people jumping in with the 2.0 update and Phantom Liberty, seeing little nods to Edgerunners will probably give them a pretty big kick.

You also probably won't be surprised to hear that this little memorial to David isn't the only Edgerunners reference that's been added. On top of that, Cyberpunk 2077's new skill tree has multiple perks inspired by characters fr🌟om the show. For example, a skill inspired by David allows you to exceed your Cyberware Capacity in exchange for reduced health. Other perks even reference Lucy and Rebecca, giving the☂ player appropriate abilities for each character.

If you want to see all of these Edgerunners references for yourself, Cyberpunk 2077's 2.0 update officially launched today ahead of the release of the Phantom Liberty expansion next week. If you're starting fresh, it means you have a few days to bltiz through the story in preparation for Phantom Liberty which launches on September 26.
