A cycling Twitch streamer got hit by a truck live on camera.
Juice_Jones is an avid cyclist. Living in Louisiana means never having to contend with snow, although the occasional hurr🌼icane will certainly make cycling to the grocery store a difficult endeavo🦄r. That said, the weather isn’t the only thing that bicyclists need to be wary of in Louisiana.
We got to see the perils of bicycling first-hand thanks to Juice’s Saturday stream. While on his way to the grocery store, Juice was hit by an inattentive ⭕truck driver.
The whole thing was caught on film thanks to Juice’s helmet-cam. Juice was pedaling along Route-167 North in the bike lane when he came across a white Ford F-150 looking to turn onto the highway. The pickup driver must have been paying more attention to oncoming 🐬traffic because they completely missed the bicycle coming from the opposite direction.
It✱ wasn’t a hard strike as the truck was merely pulling out in preparation to turn rather than actually turning, but Juice ꦗstill struck the vehicle hard enough to pull his bike off the road. The truck driver also noticed the impact as they pulled their vehicle into a nearby Chase parking lot.
Juice seems to have survived the encounter as shows him inspecting his bike for damage. He also says that 𝓰he’s “okay” to a passing driver as he’s stopped on the grass on the side of the road.
Although hitting a cyclist is never funny, Juice’s surprised s🅷cream after acknowledging the truck with a “whassup” is still pretty hilarious.
During Juice's , he reveals that he did take some damage in his close encounter with the Ford F-150. His rim was dented, and even though he was able to perform a modest repair𒀰 by bending it back into shape, he's still looking for a replacement bike.
Let this be a lesson to all y🐻ou motorists to look both ways at an intersection even if you’re making a right-hand turn. You never know when someone might be rolling up in a bike!
