Closing Argument

So the person who arranged the murder was actually the victim, Nagito. He kept Monokuma's Special Poison in his room for the occasion. Using gloves and a gas mask, he swapped the insides of a fire grenade with the poison. He sealed it with blue aluminum and placed it back with the other grenades in the break room.

After that, Nagito told everyone he hid a bomb somewhere. While they searched, he started setting up his murder in the goods warehouse. With Monokuma panels and an oil light, he set up a domino effect to make the fire occur right when people opened the door. He hung the spear by the cord on the ceiling and tied his legs and arm to the warehouse with rope. With his tied hand,🍌 he held onto the cord with the spear dangling just above him.

Next, he covered his mouth with duct tape. He stabbed himself in both thighs and his tied-up arm. Then he propped the knife on the Monokuma plushie and slammed his free hand into the blade. All this was to make others think he was tortured.

Everyone else saw Nagito's message and ran to the warehouse, just as he planned. They set off the domino effect and all was lit aflame. Then, just as Nagito also planned, they got the fire extinguishing grenades and threw them inside. This included the poisoned grenade Nagito prepared. The heat turned it to gas and Nagito inhaled it. Losing consciousness, or perhaps being dead at that point, he let go of the rope and the spear stabbed him.

Nagito did all this to set up a killer. Even the killer does not know that they killed Nagito. Someone was unlucky and threw the poꦓison grenade, thinking it was like the others to extinguish the fire, but 🧸who?
