We knew it was a murder game, but th💙e grotesque scenes, neon blood, and haunting faces of our friends managed to take it all over the top.
But in a game about solving murders, it’s no surprise that some twists were just as out-there as the concept itself. We’ll be omitting Sakura and Chihiro from this list, as Sakura’s death wasn’t a murder and Chihiro can be a bit of a touchy topic, but everyone else? Totally wild, totally fair game. And if it isn't clear by this point: spoilers ahead.
6 Sayaka's Plan For Leon
After her introduction, we doubt we were the only ones who expected her to become Makoto’s right-hand (168澳洲幸运5开奖网:like Kyoko wound up being later on). He dwells on Sayaka in the begi𒐪nning, they knew each other a little in middle school, and he’s shaken by the fact that she says she remembers him. Everything seems okay between them until Sayaka received her 🥃first motive video along with the rest of the class. She learned that her bandmates had been incapacitated in some way, becoming panicked at the realization that she had to escape to try to help them.
Aware that Makoto was on her side, Sayaka began setting up the dominoes for a murder. With Makoto supposed to take the fall, she makes him say he’ll do anything to help her before switching bedrooms with him for the night. Once he’s soundly in her room, Sayaka invites Leon to Makoto’s actual room and immediately attempts to kill him. Had she succeeded, his body would have been left in Makoto’𓃲s room, and it was entirely likely that she&rsꦗquo;d have gotten away with framing him.
5 👍 🌌 And Then Leon Turning It Around
Except, Leon was a little quicker on the draw than Sayaka had expected. He arrived to &🌼ldquo;her” room just as instructed, and Sayaka wasted almost no time before attacking him with a giant knife she’d stolen from the communal kitchen. Makoto had taken the ornamental gold sword b🍌ack to his room, and it was still there when Sayaka moved in for the night. Thinking quickly, and focused on self-defense, Leon grabbed the sword and swung it at Sayaka, breaking her wrist and disarming her.
With the plot turning on her quickly, Sayaka tried to hide in the bathroom. The door, unbeknownst to either of them, had a tricky latch, which Leon destroyed, thinking it was simply locked. Once he got the door open, he retrieved the knife Sayaka had used to attack him and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:stabbed her in the stomach while she cowered in the bathroom.
4 Hifumi's Scheme For Taka
We’ve seen to this point that Hifumi is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:willing to ♉do a great many things for Celeste. In this chapter, we got to see to what extent he’d take that. Their scheme to murder T♔aka was extremely elaborate and relied on the confusion of the remainder of the class to work. All it cost was the unwilling involvement of Hiro, some arts and crafts, and a big old dose of confusion.
Celeste and Hifumi worked together to make it l✅ook like someone was going around in the Robo-Justice costume, using increasingly large hammers to attack the classmates. They go as far as to for🗹ge photo evidence and incapacitating Hiro, cramming him into the suit to try to frame him.
But in reality, Celeste h✅ad sent Taka a fake note, explaining that she’d found an exit route and asked him to meet her in the Science Lab Storage Room. HIfumi was waiting here with the largest of the Justice Hammers so far, and bashed him in the back of the head, killing him instantly.
3 Celeste Killing Hifumi After He Kಌilled Taka For𒉰 Her
When keeping a poker face is your biggest strength, it’s difficult for some to trust you, but this wasn’t the case with Hifumi trusting Celeste, going along with her plans wholeheartedly. She manipulates him into helping her kill Taka⛎ by lying to him, telling him that Taka has stolen the much-beloved Alter Ego and is now planning to kill Hifumi so that Taka can have the laptop all to himself.
Hifumi does the dirty work of killing Taka and heads downstairs to fake his own death in the nurse’s office to throw the classmates off the scent. He covers himself in transfusion blood stored in the office and sprawls out on the ground, 'dead.' While the rest of the classmates run off to find Robo-Justice, Celeste distracts them away from his “body,” allowing him time to get up and run to move Taka's body.
When he moves Taka into the Art Storage Room, Hifumi believes he and Celeste are meeting there to discuss what to do next. It’s in here, away from everyone else, that she attacks him with a regular hammer, bashing him in the head and leaving him for dead beside Taka. And had he not woken up and told everyone who killed him (albeit in a misleading way), 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:she might have gotten away with it.
2 Mukuro's Early Demise
Although you meet Mukuro Ikusaba at the beginning of the game during the introduction to the classmates, you don&rsquo♚;t know about her 🐲until much later on. She introduces herself as Junko Enoshima, the Ultimate Fashionista – and, unbeknownst to anyone in the class, her twin sister.
It’s tough to feel bad for her once you learn she’s been in on the Killing Game plan the whole time, though, but the initial reaction to her early, relatively unceremonious demise is shock and horror. Dressed as her sister, she kicks Monokuma in the gym out of frustration, a move that was supposed to see her fake her death and 𝐆sneak off to help Junko run the game.
However, Mukuro underestimated her sister’s appetite for Despair, as Junko opts to kill Mukuro instead of just pretending to do so. The disguised girl is impale꧟d with🍎 spears and dies for real, asking “why her” with her final breath. The only thing Junko loved more than her sister was the feeling of Despair, and not only is Mukuro obvious in hers as she dies, but Junko suffers for this move as well. In fact, she tells you later that she only killed her sister to sew Despair further into herself.
1 Junko Using Mukuro's Body To Frame Makoto
But although Mukuro dies early and isn’t discovered until later, Junko manages to elaborate on this murder plot to bring about the ending of the game. Mukuro’s body reappears once Kyoko has turned up missing, and the purpose is to make the classmates believe Kyoko has murdered the 16th student. Mukur𓆉o is wearing a mask and is covered with a jacket, and has a massive knife sticking out of her chest when the classmates discover her in the Greenhouse.
An interesting easter egg on this is that, to write Mukuro’s name using traditional Japanese kanji, you use the character for the word “corpse,” which might have b🦩een foreshadowing for some. However, the classmates are baffled by the sudden mystery, fully believing that the missing Kyoko is responsible for the death.
The body was equipped with a bomb, however, and the resulting explosion left ꦕonly the lower half and hands for the classmates to investigate. This is just enough for them to notice the “old injuries,” which they mistakenly believe are wartime souvenirs. It comes out during the trial, however, that this is actually “Junko,” while the real Junko has been the mastermind beh🉐ind the Killing Game all along.
