Covenants were introduced in the original as a means to add more personalization to online play, allowing players to swear their allegiance to a single Covenant in exchange for ce🎃rtain benefits. In execution, the Covenant system left quite a lot to be desired. Along with there being zero incentive to stick to a Covenant, most just aren’t worth the effort of grinding.
While neither s꧂equel ironed out Covenants flawlessly, at least puts the mechanic to some decent use. The Blades of the Darkmoon Covenant is one of the most illusive in , requiring players to reach Anor Londo before they can join. Leveling up the Blades of the Darkmoon Covenant in requires grinding 30 Proof of a Concord Kept, a task that’s easier said than done.
Invader Farming
The most natural way to farm Proof of a Concord Kept is by joining the Blue Sentinel or Blade of the Darkmoon Covenants. As a member of either Covenant, you’ll be summoned to defend any Way of Blue members during PvP invasions. A Proof of Concord Kept will be re🌜warded if the invader is physically killed by you, the host, and any allies or if the host enters a boss gate.
You won’t obtain A Proof of Concord Kept if the invader kills themselves or if they use a Black Separation Crystal to warp back home. Ultimately, invader farmi𒁏ng is fun but it can feel like a fruitless endeavor on a natural playthrough. You’re better off farming Silver Knights instead.
Silver Knight Farming
Silver Knights are enemies who appear throughout Anor Londo and Irithyll of the Boreal Valley, and they come in three distinct types: sword & shield vari🐠ants, spear & shield wielders, and archers with Greatbows. The most convenient place to farm Silver Knights is around the Anor Londo Cathedral entrance.
While Silv🌠er Knights are simple enough to take down (especially for anyone used to PvP), Proof of a Concord Kept is a very rare drop and you’re going to be grinding for a while. It helps to equip the Gold Serpent Ring, Symbol of Avarice, or Crystal Sage Rapier as they all increase item discovery rate. Other than that, there’s not much you can do to mitigate the grind.
In-Game Locations
If all else fails, two Proofs of a Concord Kept can be found in-game. It’s hardly enough to rank up, but finding both at least cuts down on the grind just a bit. The first can be found🌠 in Irithyll of the Boreal Valley. Warp to the Church of Yorshka Bonfire and the Proof of a Concord Kept will be on a body near the altar. The second Proof of a Concord Kept can be found on the western stairs inside of Anor Londo.
