Where To Find The Librarian
The Sprawl is a region your Stagecoach will occasionally pass through on your journey to the Mountain. Once a city of scholars, when the heroes arrive it's in the process of being torched by book-burning zealots. If you chance upon a Lair called The Great Library, fighting your way to the top floor will bring you face-to-face with the Librarian. He's joined in the frenzy, and won't stop until he sees every book in the building - and anyone who tries to stop him - burned to ash.
The fanatics on the lower floors, as well as the Librarian himself, make heavy use of Burn so equip any Trinkets you have that provide Burn Resistance. This is an enemy type that rewards aggressive play, and the best strategy is usually to end the fight before your enemies have a chance to power up.
Lastly, since the fanatics are themselves highly resistant to Burn, it might be best to avoid the Sprawl if the Runaway is in your party as her usefulness will be limited there.
How To Defeat The Librarian
The Librarian fights from behind three large stacks of books. Melee heroes will need to clear the books away to reach their target, but each stack of books destroyed empowers the Librarian. Therefore, it's best to focus on wearing down the Librarian with ranged attacks capable of targeting the back row while your melee characters focus on tanking and support.
The Librarian doesn't have any particular weaknesses, but his resistance to Blight is lower than his other tolerances so try to use that whenever possible. The Plague Doctor's Plague Grenade and the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Graverobber's Poison Dart are both excellent options against this boss, as they inflict Blight at rangꦆe.
The Occultist's starting ranged attack Abyssal Artillery was made for this fight, though it's likely that repeated use will destroy the rearmost stack of books. As long as you're prepared for this eventuality, the consistent damage is usually worth the risk.

Additionally, heroes with movement Skills or resistance to forced movement can mitigate the effects of Categorize. If the order of your lineup is critical to your strategy, use the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Man-At-Arms' Hold The Line or the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Hellion's Toe-To-Toe to immobilize the users, preventing them from bಞeing shuff✃led.
Since the ideal strategy for defeating the Librarian relies on ranged attacks, his ability to inflict blind can impact your damage output. Have at least one stack of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Milk-Soaked Linen combat item equipped to clear this effect when needed.
If you're going to the Sprawl, be sure to buy as many Burn Salves as you can at the Inn before leaving!
If a stack of books is about to be destroyed, shift to a defensive focus. Heal any heroes who are low on HP and build up stacks of Dodge and Block if you can.
