Aim at it and don't move for that time — the encounter will trigger automatically. I used the wall that is behind the main stairs in the house.

How To Solve The Sudoku Puzzle
At one point, Doug will ask you to complete a Sudoku with him. However, he won't show you the incomplete Sudoku; he'll dictate to you how it starts. You need to grab a piece of paper and a pen, follow his instructions to draw the Sudoku, and then complete it yourself. He will ask you questions about specific numbers once you're done.
