Washford is your trusty washing machine, but more than that, he’s a poet with a love of classical literature. You’ll also find that he still has feelings for Drysdale from how fondly he speaks of him and how much pain their falling out has brought him.

How To Meet Washford

Washford can be found in the laundry room. From your front door, go all the way down the end of the hallway and enter the kitchen to your right. You will see a door on the side of the kitchen opposite its entrance. This is the door to the laundry room. Once inside, you will see a blue washing machine and an orange dryer on top. Use your specs to interact with the washing machine, and you’ll meet the dashing Washford.

How To Make Washford Like You

There are two things that Washford shows an obvious passion for: literature and Drysdale. To get on good terms with his literature-loving side, raise your smarts to at least 25 points. With enough smarts, you’ll be able to keep up with his references of classical literature, and he’ll look at you with more respect than if you diss his passion for poetry and the like.

If you want to win Washford over, it’s best if you work towards increasing your smarts to 25 before you talk to him.

In your second conversation with him, he’ll ask you about Macbeth and he’ll appreciate you for being familiar with it. It’s what you say during this day that will determine the direction of your relationship with him. There are certain dialogue options that will guarantee that he’ll like you:

How To Make Drysdale Like You

Drysdale likes flattery and hates getting bored. Be exciting and charming, and he will say “Points!” when he likes the response.

If you want Drysdale to have a positive opinion of you right off the bat, it helps to build up your charm beforehand. A dialogue option from your first meeting will require at least 60 points of charm, so you might want to consider wooing other dateables before hitting Drysdale up at all. Regardless of your charm, the way to Drysdale’s heart is through Washford. You might want to get closer to Washford first if you want the best possible ending with D🔥rysdale.

How To Make Drysdale A Lover

To get Drysdale interested in you, you need to help him repair his relationship with Washford. On day two of talking to Drysdale, you’ll be able to steer the direction in two ways. After that, you need to talk to Washford a fourth time. In this conversation, tell him you’ve been thinking about Drysdale. Tell him that you want them to fix their relationship, then tell him that Drysdale wants to apologize. When he tells you he’s ready to go to him, talk to Drysdale.

When you talk to Drysdale the third time, tell him that you came from talking to Washford. He’ll tell you about The Pale Betrayal.
