Former WWE superstar Dave Bautista wants to be the guy who lands the role as Marcus Fenix for the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Gears of War film adaptation.
The 50-year-old, who wrestled under the name Batis🌄ta during his time in WWE, is ac🦂tually desperate to play Fenix and says he's tried everything to make it happen.
Batista rose to fame as a wrestler but is no stranger to movies as acting is his main gig now. In fact, he claims to be completely done with wrestling. The six-time World Champion played Drax the Destroyer in Guardians of the Galaxy 1 & 2, as well as Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. He also stars as Detective Victor Manning in recent release Stuber.
The wrestler-turned-actor is actually🌠 perfecཧt for the Marcus Fenix role. He's got the body, the voice, and the attitude. But, apparently, Universal isn't sold.
Batista revealed his plight via Twitter, responding to a fan who ur🦄ged Hollywood for a Gears movie with him starring.
"They’re listening. And they could give AF!" he wrote. "But thank you for the support. Believe me when I say I’ve༒ tr🐼ied everything to make this happen."
This isn't the first time ജBatista has laid bare his desire to become the iconic character.
“I’ve been pursuing Gears of War for years now,” he said during a Q&A session with last year. “I believe it’s in the hands of Universal Studios. And I’ve been knocking on their door an🃏d badgering them and they are so sick of me phoning in and asking them where they are with that project. But, yes, Marcus Fenix is absolutely a dream role for me. I want that role.”
The movie has already been confirmed for production, with, Collide and xXx: Return of Xander Cage writer F. Sco🥀tt Frazier getting hired to create the scrꦏipt for the adaptation of the Xbox game.
