Out of all the consoles I play video games on, the is my least favourite. I prefer to play games in bed, with the air conditioning turned up to beat back Singapore’s tropical heat and humidity. That means I always buy games on my Xbox if possible for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:peak horizontal gaming vibes. I could technically do so on Switch, but the resolution and performance of games isn’t as good, and it pisses me off that the bꦦutton configuration is different, too. Easier to stick with the devil you know, I say.
I also didn’t grow up playing Nintendo games, another reason why I never reach for my Switch before another console – I don’t feel a strong urge to play the newest Pokemon games or Tears of the Kingdom or Pikmin 4. I find myself gravitating mainly to indies on this console because of the smaller graphical demands, but I 🧸don’t really enjoy using it. Loading times are long, the console is too big for my hands, and my country doesn’t have a local Nintendo store which means I end up paying conversion fees and higher exchange rates when I buy games. I still prefer playing a game on my Switch than on my PC, but I know I wouldn’t use my Switch at all if I had a Steam Deck.

A Dave The Dive🐟r And Dredge Collaboration Was Inevitable
It’s the moꦿst ob✃vious collaboration of the year, and for good reason
I don’t though, because they’re not technically available in my region from the website. If I want one, I have to buy an absurdly overpriced one online, and I’m not willing to spend that kind of money. So, for games that I know I want to play on a contr🀅oller (which is almost everything) and that aren’t available on Xbox, I head sꦓtraight to my Switch. Dave the Diver falls squarely into this box. I don’t want to sit at my PC to play it, and it’s not on Xbox or PlayStation, so here I am, Switch in hand.
I have never used my Switch so much in my life.
I have never been the kind of person to throw my Switch in my bag when༒ I leave the house. I tend to bring a book instead, because commutes are the only time I tend to pick at my growing to-read pile. Even when I go on vacation, I’ll usually pack my Switch and only end up using it on flights, choosing to devour whole books when I travel instead of playing games. But bizarrely, I’ve started grabbing my Switch before I go out. Dave the Diver’s roguelike gameplay means it’s perfect for playing in short bursts, and I can do runs while changing between train lines. It’s low maintenance enough that I don’t have to listen to it, which means I can combine playing with what I usually do on trains: listen to podcasts about astrology, lifting weights, and leftism.
Finally, I’m ge𒈔tting use out of my Switch. It’s not an expensive (well, I got mine for free by signing up for a credit card, but still) paperweight anymore, it’s a console that I use all the time. When my partner is using the TV, I actually pick up my Switch and play a game instead of idly watching Instagram stories. My Switch has value to me now, and it’s all thanks to Dave the D🔯iver.
