"You'll See The Difference" Between The Remaster And The Original Game

"The graphical improvements we’ve made — you’ll see the difference," McAllister said. "There’s increased lighting, increased shadow quality🌼, increased fog depth. For example, nighttime is now darker; the moon is more natural-looking. The blue sky𝓀 is more natural, too — Days Gone is a very realistic-looking game. And we’ve taken that to a new level with the PS5."

Not only will the game look better, but it will also feature new modes, including a Horde Assault mode that will seemingly take full advantage of the PS5's c🐭apabilities. In the original game, the biggest horde topped out at 500 Freakers, but in the remaster, that number can touch 800.

As outlined previously, there will be a Perm🍸adeath mode that will have players either beat the game from start to finish without dying, or on a per-act basis to not wipe out hours of progress.

"Well, what’s the 𒉰ultimate challenge? Deathless. So now, you’re really getting that true survival experience. I think players are going to dig it," McAllister explained.

It's worth noting that the $10 upgrade is only available to those who have actual𓆉ly purchased the game before, either on-disc or digitally. Those who claimed the game via PlayStatio�🍰�n Plus are not eligible. No matter which camp you fall under, it does seem like quite a bit of work wꦇas put into this release.
