Some DC superheroes prefer to work alone and refuse any kind of partnership. This does🍨n’t apply to all heroes, of course. Batman himself, who is supposedly waging a never-ending war on crime alone, operates with a whole family of sidekicks. If anything, Bat-Family has become like an academy for young sidekicks to graduate and become superheroes of their own.
Youn💞g heroes were introduced way back in the Golden Age of comic books, and they’ve been key figures in many major stories and key events since then. They were initially added as a way to lure young readers to comics, and it was indeed a great success. Many of these subordinates eventually evolved into full-fledged superheroes themselves and have their🔯 own stories now. Some definitely deserve their own video games!
9 Speedy/Arsenal/Red Arrow (Roy Harperꦑ)
Though Roy Harper has no superpowers, his skills with a bow and arrow are pretty much unmatched, bar Green Arrow of course. Throughout his career as a sidekick and superheroꦗ, he’s been known as Speedy, Arsenal, and Red Arrow. His backstory as a child is quite depressing, and if that’s not enough, he became an addict at one point.
In Justice League: Cry for Justice Vol 1, a villain named Prometheus infiltrated the Watchtower, beat Roy senseless, and cut off his arm with a sword. Roy barely survived, and he eventually got a bra🎃nd new cybernetic arm, made by his close friend Cyborg. In some stories and animations, Roy’s bionic arm can function as a canon, as well as some other useful weapons. Combine Aloy’s archery skills with Nero’s Devil Breakers and a fun Red Arrow game may appear.
8 Superboy (Connor Kent/Kon-El) ♏
Conner is a clone of Superman and Lex Luthor. A great mix, right? Well, it ta❀kes a significant amount of time before Connor can find his true self and becomes a reliable superhero, but he eventually gets there. He’s been a key member of both Young Justice and Teen Titans teams and a favorite among DC fans.
While there are no new Superman games on the horizon, this doesn꧙🔯’t mean Kon-El doesn’t deserve his very own game. He can do pretty much everything Kal-El does, just not as good as him, which would actually make him more of an interesting character for a video game. After all, Superman is a little too strong to explore within a video game setting, unless you nerf him quite a bit.
7 Skeets
Skeets is Booster Gold’s robotic sidekick with a sarcastic personality. His banters can put a smile on your face regardless of your mood. Without hiꦡm, Booster Gold wouldn’t be as interesting or even alive to be fair, given how Skeets saved the hꦫero quite a few times. His sense of humor may be his best quality, but he’s also a good tactician and act as a distraction when Booster Gold is fighting tougher enemies.
Booster used the knowledge he acquired from Skeets to become wealthy after traveling back in time, and it’s al♊so thanks to Skeets he knew when and where a disaster was to happen so he could be there in time and do heroic acts to gain fame. A puzzle-adventure game with Skeets as the main character can work. Not all superhero games have to action-adventures after all.
6 𝓡 Terra (Atlee) 🐠
The name Terra in the DC universe is usually associated with Tara Marꦓkov, but there is another person who goes by the same name and has similar powers. Atl𒅌ee is an alien who lives beneath the surface of Earth, has geokinetic powers like her predecessor, and takes a human form when she begins her career as a superhero. Her first adventures are with Power Girl.
Atlee’s superpowers allow her to manipulate the surrounding geography, and she can sort of fly by riding on rocks she controls through force of will. She is not an overpowered character and given the right environment and well-thought level design, T🌱erra can be the main hero of a video game. Think of her as Toph from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Come to think of it, a video game you play as Toph would be great too.
5 Aqualad (Kaldur'ahm)
Despite being a relatively new character, Kaldur’ahm became quite popular among DC fans, mainly thanks to the Young Justice series. He’s introduced as the protege of Aquaman in the first episode. Kaldur’ was unanimously elected as the team leader and he showed great leadership skills throughout the show. He eventually joined the Justice Leagueᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ and became t🍸he leader of the league as well.
Kaldur’ can control the flow of water, and he has the ability to shape water into a range of weapons. He’s also athletic, fast, and strong, much like Aquaman. He’s more powerful underwater for obvious reasons, but he’s a force to be reckoned with regardless of the environment. An Arkham-style action game would be an interesti♏ng experience.
4 ꩲ Batgirl/Oracle (Barbara Gordon)
Nothing can stop Barbara from helping people, not even being shot in the spinal cord by the Joker. She started her her𓆏o career as Batgirl and helped Batman save the day, and on many occasions, she ended up saving the Dark Knight from certain death as well.
Barbara survived being shot by Joker, but this resulted in her suffering a complete spinal cord injury, which left her a paraplegic. She returned as ꦐOracle, becoming the brain of Batman’s operations. Barbara is a playable character in Gotham Knights as Batgirl, but a video game that focuses on her tech skills and digital expertise can be fascinating as well.
3 Wonder Girl (Donna Tro𒐪y)
Donna Troy is the original Wonder Girl, and she is also one of the founding members of Teen Titans. Donna can match her mentor in almost every way, but the experience. She even has her own indestructible bracelets which she uses in the same manner as Wondeꦯr Woman does.
It’s a little hard to imagine what kind of video game settings you can come up with for heroes as powerful as Wonder Girl, but since a Wonder Woman game is under development it wouldn’t be surprising for Donna to appear in it. She may even be a playable character just like Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin and Catwoman are in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Batman: Arkham games.
2 Miss Martian (M'gann M'orzz/Megan Morse)
M’gann or more commonly known as Megan is a White Martian superhero. She’s Martian Manhunter’s niece and also his former sidekick. M’gann adapted to earth far better and faster than J'onn J'onzz. She eventually becomes a powerhouse and one of the most powerful defenders of the earth.
One could argue, Martian Manhunter deserves a modern video game more than M’gann does, but she’s been around for quite some time too, and helped save the world more than one can think of. In creative hands, a video game starring a Martian superhero ꦇwould be a nice experiment.
1 Robin/Nightwing (Dick Gray𒁃son) 🎃
It’s perhaps cheating to include Dick Grayson in this list. He’s the first Robin aღnd one of the very first sidekicks ever created in the comics. He’s Batman’s protégé, and he filled Bruce’s shoes on🙈 a number of occasions, becoming Batman unwillingly.
He spent a long time being Batman’s student, but they eventually had a major fallout and went their separate ways. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dick became the superhero Nightwing, and the duo eventually found peace and started working together. He also mentored other Robins, one of them being Bruce Wayne’s son Damian Wayne. He appears as a playable character in Arkham Series, but he truly deserves his very own game. Many fans believe the Arkham Games should’ve continued with Dick taking the cowl and ♍becoming Batman.
