Halloween is upon us again and with it, the Eternal Blight casts its shadow over the trials of The Entity once more in the 4v1 asymmetric horror game 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dead By Daylight. A host of spooky seasonal items have returned to꧒ the Bloodweb, including the Killer add-on, the Blight Serum.
This add-on is available on all Killers and replaces their active power. With one use of the Blighted Rush, Killers perform a high-speed dash that leaves them unable to attack until it's finished. While it’s a powerful tool to use during a chase, not every Killer will be able to use it well and in fact, some might even be weakened by it. But which Killers benefit the most from this deadly pick-me-up?
7 The Trapper - Effective With ꦇSome Setup
Theoretically, giving a non-chase Killer a temporary chase power is a good way to off⛄set their weakness. However, the Blight Serum is not necessarily a straight-up upgrade for The Trapper, since he can actually use his traps in a chase by using them to lock down loops, which the Blight Serum would prevent.
However, the Serum could still be a good tool for The Trapper, with some proper planning. You’ll have to set up your traps before engaging the Survivors, or between uses of the Blighted Rush. Alternatively, you can also just run the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Iridescent Stone, which will randomly activate a trap every 30 seconds. This, along with your newly𓆏 found chase potential, will likely sow some chaos amongst your opponents.
6 ♈ The Hag - Tactꦓical Trapping
Similar to The Trapper, The Hag requires some setup to make full use of the Blight Serum. Unlike him, she’s less likely to make use of h🥂er traps in chase. In general, she can be more flexible with her power, since she gets all of her traps at once, can have ten active at a time, and her teleport action isn’t blocked by th🍎e Blighted Rush.
You can also set traps after you've downed someone, but before you hook them, so you’ll have the Blighted Rush for chases and some more traps for Survivors to stumble into.
5 The Ma♛stermind - Superior Chasing
Since he’s a superior being, Wesker doesn’t really need Talbot’s little formula – he's already pretty effective in chase. However, a little extra boost never hurt anyone and, for The Mastermind, the Blighted Serum is more of a good thing, giving him what is effectively a third dash that doesn’t grab survivors.
Since the Blighted Dash is always used befo𝔍re his Infectious Bound, it’s a great way to close the distance before the fun really starts, mak🎃ing the already hard-to-escape Wesker even more tenacious.
4 ♍ The Plague - Punishing High-Level Plays
The Plague is a good area control killer who punishes players for interacting with the environment, infecting them with a sickness that will eventually give them the Broken status effec🏅t, rendering them unable to heal to full health and vulnerable to a go👍od thwacking.
Of course, they can cleanse themselves, but that gives her access to her damaging Corrupt Purge. To deny her this, s▨ome particularly skilled Survivors will hold off on c𝔍leansing until the match is almost over, but with the Blight Serum that’s a much more risky proposition since, she’ll have a decent chase power to catch survivors with and down them instantly.
3 ✃ The Pig - The Game In Question? Tag
Jigsaw’s apprentice is considered to be on the low-end of Killer effectiveness, despite the fact that she💎 has one of the most oppressive slowdowns in DBD✅, the Reverse Bear Trap. Unfortunately, she still has to down the Survivors to attach the deadly headgear, and with mediocre stealth and an unreliable chase power in the form of her crouch and dash mechanics, she’s not exactly top-tier.
However, with the Blight Serum, she has a semi-reliable chase tool that almost guarantees her catching up with her quarry should they try to transition out of a loop. The best part is, the Serum doesn’t interfere with most of her mechanics, only sharing a common input with the &l♛squo;attach Reverse Bear Trap’ action. This is easy to get around by making sure you expend the Blighted Rush in chase before downing them and giving them their new hat.
2 The Blight - Even More Rus💝hing 🀅
Since the Blight Serum is his formula, of course it 🥃would do something special for The Blight. Or rather, it might as well be a part of his normal available pool of add-ons, since it gives him an 𒉰additional token for his Blighted Rush instead of the weakened version other Killers get.
There’s no reason🐻 to not equip the Blight Serum on The Blight, since it’s a straight-up buff, giving another use of one of the most powerful chase abilities in the game. The only add-on that does that is the Adrenaline Vial, which adds two tokens and a host of other effects. Run the two add-ons together and Survivors will rue the day they faced Talbot Grimes.
1 The💙 Shape - Infinite Evil On Wheels
Talbot Grimes might have perfected the formula, but in the hands of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Michael Myers is where it truly shines. The application of the Blight Serum transforms The Shape from a soulless killer with no conscience or mercy into a soulless killer with no conscience or mercy, and heelies.
He’s generally considered to be one of the weakest killers in the game, since his stalk mechꦏani🍰c takes a long time to ramp up and the one-shot-down capability his Tier Three Evil Within grants him doesn’t actually do much to help him catch Survivors in chase.
However, with the Blight Serum, his Tier Three becomes a nightmare for Survivors, since he can very easily catch up to them and down them. Just downing one Surviv♐or in Tier Three, and then hooking them can set off a snowball effect as you down Survivors, hook them, and then use the Blighted Rush t🐟o help you catch other Survivors.
If you want to be a real monster, equip the Fragrant Tuft of Haꦓir which grants you unlimited Evil Within III, expect some disconnects or salt in the chat when the Survivors realize what you&𝐆rsquo;re doing.
