8 Games To Play If You Like Dead B💛y Dayligh🦩t
If you like Dead By Daylight, it's time 🐭to put your survival horror skills to the test in other games!
When a new killer gets added, excitement builds around the character. You have a distinct look that ranges from terrifying mon🍌sters to sadistic killers, some originally crafted and others straight from classic horror films like Halloween and Saw. Their unique abilities make them stand out, meaning games as survivors or killers are unlike anything else released before. Then, you have their Mori kills, specialized kills that turn Dead By Daylight into Mortal Kombat with a fatality-like execution.
Updated June 05, 2024, by Jon Eakin: Determined to become the Super Smash of horror, Dead By Daylight continues to grow its roster of killers and monsters. This means more brutal Mori animations to geek out over, from original and licensed characters alike. With that in mind, we thought this list was long overdue for an update, so we added a batch of new entries and upgraded it with new features.
16 Naugh൩ty Bear
The Trapper, Kind Of
One of Behaviour's oldest games, Naughty Bear, had an unexpected moment in the sun when they included the titular character in Dead By Daylight as a premium skin for The Trapper. For some of you, a giant stuffed bear as a Killer may have been jumping the shark, but he fits the tone of the game perfectly.
As a premium skin, Naughty Bear has a distinct Mori animation from The Trapper, resolving m꧅any of the issues people had with the original Mori. Naughty Bear uses both his machete and bear traps to take out Survivors, making it a distinct upgrade.
15 𒁃 Tarhos Kovács
The Knight
The Knight's gameplay and backstory are distinct from those of other Killers, with the exception of The Legion, in that there's a focus on a group just as much as the individual. Tarhos summons his knightly retinue into the trials, and his Mori is no different.
By conjuring his three allies, he has their help to restrain Survivors and 🐭infli⭕ct some truly medieval torture upon them before he finishes the job with his sword. It perfectly sells the concept that this is a unified squad with Tarhos as their commander.
14 Xenomorph
Just The Xenomorph
Alien was a dream license for the Dead By Daylight commun🌸ity, and Behaviour made it happen as a full Chapter. Introducing a new map and new counterplay mechanics for Survivors to engage in, along with the iconic Ripley as a Survivor, the Alien Chapter was a slam du🐽nk.
The Xenomorph's Mori is a true treat for fans, featuring one of the most iconic traits of the alien itself. Picking up the Survivor and lifting them face-to-face, The Xenomorph opens wide to reveal the smaller mouth inside its mouth. It thrusts forward and chomps a hole clean through the Survivor's head.
13 Pyram🙈id Head 🦂
The Executioner
While the game calls him E𒁃xecutioner, you will know him as Pyramid Head from the Silent Hill series. While he is one of the many crossover charaꦦcters, he is one of the few originating from a video game.

Dꦯead By Daylight: 12 Killer Mistakes To 𒊎Avoid Making
There are a few things you'll need to avoid doing if you want to get the upper hand as the killer in D🔯ead By Daylight.
Pyramid Head technically has two kill animations, a rarity among the cast of killers. If a Survivor is on their last hook state and suffering from Pyramid Head's Torment status, he can deliver a swift overhand chop to quickly dispatch them. That isn't actually his Mori, though, which is more involved. When it's activated, the Survivor is levitated in front of him and wrapped in barbed wire before he thrusts his blade through them and twists, ending their time in the trial.
12 𓃲 ☂ Charlotte & Victor
The Twins
A few select killers have two Moris. The Twins are one, as Charlotte can slay her victim one way without Victor, and another with him. The way without Victor is pretty straightforward, but when Victor is around, things get a whole ⛎lot more🃏 gross.
When the two are united, the animation changes slightly. First, Charlotte weakens her victim by stabbing them repeatedly, but once they are down, she gives a little nod to an awaiting Victor. Then, on command, the little guy jumps down from his sister to devour the person's flesh. Yummy.
11 Pinhead
The Cenobite
If you are a fan of Hellraiser, the addition of Pinhead must have got you excited. He is a calm yet deadly villain who can take people out with a wave of🧸 his hand.
Pinhead sends out hooks to penetrate his victims. He fully utilizes this as he suspends a person in the air with them, pulling at their skin at 🌄multiple angles to cause agony before they get dipped into a portal of their demise. In the end, the other player is dead, and your leather suit is clean.
10 🍃 Herman Carter ღ
The Doctor
This Doctor strikes ꦕfear into anyone who crosses his path. Some killers can not reach a climax when their Mori comes up, as they sometimes generically kill someone without their powers. For an early DLC killer, the devs got creative with this one to keep him on brand.
By over-performing electroshock therapy, the Doctor fries his patient's brain. As a professional, he turns their head to check up on them. He is not too kind, however, laughing as smoke comes out of their eyes.
9 ♋ Jeffrey Hawk
The Clown
Somet🥂imes it is not about how a killer slays their victim, but what they do after the fact. Clown is already creepy for who he is, but he manages to take it up a notch with what he does with his prey.

Th🔜e 9 Best Survivors To Prestige In Dead By Daylight For New Players, Ranked
Picking your first Presti൲ge can be a tough choice.
Although he technically has two Moris, as the finger he chooses changes based on gender, the result is the same. He stomps their head in until he finishes the job. Afterward, he slices off a finger, which he sucks on for a moment before putting it in his pocket. Of everything he could do, it is quite the unsettlin🔴g twist to leave people uncomfortable.
The Clown having a different Mori animation for male and female Survivors might seem like it has a disturbing implication, but it's actually an example of the developers finding a creative solution to a problem.
Once Ash Williams was added to the game, they realized that The Clown's Mori would have him cutting off the finger from a non-existent hand. By having the Clown swap to the other hand for all male Survivors, they made sure he's never left without the chance to claim his grisly trophy.
8 Adiris
The Plague
If the killers of Dead By Daylight were to have an award show, categories like Most Brutal and Most Stylish Killer would be a part of it. If there were to be a Grossest Memento Mori category🌞, then Plague would win by a mile.
Plague knocks her victim to the ground with her weapon, the Profane Censer. This gives her time to do a quick ritualistic chant before wrapping the person in her chain and bringing them closer to her face. For a character who vomits as her ability, she does exactly that in the person's face until they die.
7 Sadako
The Onryō
The creepy woman from The Ring, Sadako Yamura, made her debut earlier this year. Between her two kill animations and her disturbing, iconic look, she has become one of the scari𒊎est villains in t🔴he game.
In her Mori animation, rather than her b🔯asekit Inexorable Stare, The Onryō balances brutality and scariness. She levitates her prey into the air and slowly breaks their limbs. As they slowly die on the ground, the camera cuts to a close-up sh😼ot of one of her eyes to add to the nightmare fuel.
