But not all Killers are made equal in The Entity's realm. While some seem sadistic to the core with little regard or remnant of humanity, such as The Ghost Face or The Oni, there are a few whose backstories are real tear-jerkers. Grab your tissues and settle in - here are the most tragic of the bunch.

10 The Blight ও

Talbot Grimes is The Blight in Dead By Daylight

Talbot Grimes is the ultimate cautionary tale. He shares much with Gothic horror legend Doctor Frankenstein, both characters sharing similar underpinnings of science gone horribly wrong as one man pushes the natural boundaries of humanity. Talbot's story is tragic because his curse began as a gift; he was once an esteemed chemist whose productivity-boosting drugs ended up sending hordes of people into the fitful throes of murderous rage.

He only succumbed to his condition as The Blight because his passion devolved into obsession, pro𝄹ving that no good deed goes unp🌳unished. Unfortunate as his circumstances are; however, he ranks low on this list due to the sheer volume of people affected by his poorly-controlled drug.

9 The Nurse

Sally Smithson is The Nurse in Dead by Daylight

Poor old Sally Smithson was once a woman and wife like any other. It wasn't until her husband passed away and left her alone in the world that she came to work at Crotus Prenn Asylum, toiling through grueling night shifts in a desperate attempt to carve a path for herself in a world that had become that much darker.

After bearing witness to so much horror, she eventually fell into the arms of mental instability herself. Rather than healing the sick, Nurse Smithson administered her own form of medication: euthanasia. In her own twisted way, The Nurse believes she is performing a kindness to the people she kills, displayed in one 168👍澳洲幸运5开奖网:surprisingly tender moment in her mori kill where she gently closes the eyes of the𓆏 recently-offed Survivor.

8 The Hillbi𒆙lly

Max is The Hillbilly in Dead By Daylight

Born to an a🧜ffluent family, Max Thompson Jr. entered this world unwanted and unloved. His physical deformity was deemed so unforgivable by his cruel parents that they locked him 𒀰away from the public eye, forcing their son into a life of solitude.

Max's mental condition deteriorated as he spent more and more time locked away like a prisoner, so it is almost understandable that he exacted revenge upon his parents when he finally managed to break free. A sad, touching tale of the harrowing effects of psychological abuse, The Hillbilly's hostile response to other people can be chalked up to having been robbed of even a single friendly face throughout his entire childhood.

7 🌌 The Wraith

Philip Ojomo is The Wraith in Dead By Daylight

Hardworking Philip Ojomo was grateful for his job at the Autohaven Wreckers. It was a simple position, but one that offered the opportunity for a fresh start in a confusing and exciting new country. It all came crashing down when he made the horrific realization that the Wreckers was not just a scrap car dealership but a blo♔odst🍰ained cover-up for the disposal of bodies and persons wanted by gangsters.

Philip flew into a rage after finding out how he had been unwittingly murdering innocent people in the car-crusher all along. Seeing red, he tore out the skull and spine of his corrupt boss, Azarov, before disappearing into the night. The Wraith's origin story paints him as an avenger of sorts - until the Entity summoned him to the Fog and pitted him against Survivors in a deadly, never-ending game of cat and mouse.

6 ✨ 🐷 The Huntress

Anna is The Huntress in Dead By Daylight

Raised by her mother in the Red Forest, Anna's backstory is a well-known piece of Dead By Daylight lore. Her mother was eviscerated by an elk while out hunting one day, leaving her daughter frightened and alone in the deep dark wood. As Anna grew, she developed a reputation in the nearby village as The Huntress: a cold-blooded murderer who slaughtered men and women for encroaching upon her territory.

However, Anna always longed for a little girl of her own. Whenever she came across a lost girl in the woods, she would take her home and do her best to look after her - but, having been left alone at so young an age, she was driven mad by the heartbreaking deaths of each little child in turn. It's hard not to feel for The Huntress. All she wants is to love and raise her own daughter, but without the proper infrastructure, she finds herself doomed to fail each and every time she "rescues" one.

5 𓂃 The Artist

Carmina Mora is The Artist in Dead By Daylight

Carmina Mora's story is tough to stomach. Blamed by her father for her mother leaving them, her deeply-rooted guilt complex only intensified after she was blamed for the accidental drowning of her brother. Grief-stricken without him, she lost her creative impetus and couldn't bring herself to create art.

She tried committing suicide but felt such a kinship with the crows on Death Leap bridge that it made her reconsider ending her life. The crows are both a help and a hindrance, giving her a new lease on life while robbing her of her friends and her career as an artist. Talk about a murder of crows.

4 The Hag

Lisa Sherwood is The Hag in Dead By Daylight

Lisa Sherwood was just an elderly lady with an affinity for the good luck charms of the Old Religion. These turned out to serve her well when she was kidnapped from her village on a stormy night, chained up to be brutally tortured, and slowly eaten alive by a team of vicious cannibals. With her body dissolving beneath their blades, she was able to find the inner strength to break free after she carved aඣ protective sigil into the dirt. The cost? Her dwindling humanity.

She is alive, but only just; Lisa is now The Hag, a swamp-dwelling creature who lures her prey into traps, exacting revenge by gorging herself on the flesh of her captives just as her own body was feasted upon. A t𝄹high for a thigh, as they say.

3 ♈ The Spirit

Rin Yamaoka is The Spirit in Dead By Daylight

Players of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Hooked On You will recognize Rin Yamaoka as The Spirit. After being murdered by her father in the most horrific of ways, Rin's story is hard to hear and makes her presence as a vengeful ghost somewhat excusable.

The shards of glass protruding from her pale blue flesh serve as a reminder of her grisly death. Whenever you play against her, you'll be forgiven for whispering a secret "good for her" as she hooks yet another no-good man-thing. That is, of course, until she sets her glassy sights upon you.

2 The Twins

Charlotte and Victor are The Twins in Dead By Daylight

Although Charlotte and Victor are one of the least-popular Killers in Dead By Daylight, their backstory is rife with tragedy, horror, and - dare I say it - righ𝕴teous justice. Charlotte protects her brother wit💮h her life. Their bond is not merely one of blood but of the aggressive love and devotion required to carry on despite insurmountable odds.

Although Victor seems a terrifying changeling-type demon, you can see the profound love they share in The Twins' animation in the character selection menu. He holds Charlotte's hand as she looks into his eyes to check on him, cradling him close as any big sister would for their infant sibling. That moment says it all. Charlotte would do anything to protect her brother, including getting rid of those stinking Survivors who would sooner chase them out of town with a pitchfork than give Victor a chance to live.

1 ও The Pl𒉰ague

Adiris is the Plague in Dead By Daylight

Adiris is the only Killer who came to The Entity willingly. He𒀰r life was dedicated not to blood and slaughter but to serving her community and bringing hope to thousands. She found herself stricken by the pestilence which had ravaged the surrounding cities, carrying a censer of sweet-smelling incense to mask the stench of rot and vomit that emanated from the sickly woman.

In her final moments, Adiris sacrificed herself to The Entity in exchange for the life of her people, swearing to do its bidding if her followers would be cured of their disease. Devoted, altruistic, and good at her very core, The High Priestess of Babylon stands out as the mar𓆉tyred queen of tragedy.
