Just because it sounds like something that should be intuitive, doesn't mean it always is. Dead by Daylight's redemption code menu is tucked away a couple of menus deep, and when you're trying to quickly redeem those codes—some of which only last a day—no one has time to dig.

Developer Behaviour Interactive gives out codes for spare Bloodpoints and new in-game glamours pretty often. They're often announced on Twitter, in their live streams, or in the studio's official Discord. A few hundred thousand Bloodpoints here and there add up quick, especially as Dead by Daylight's character roster grows and you continue to have access to new teachable perks.

How To Redeem Bloodpoint And Item Codes

Despite how long I spent looking for the menu the first time, it's not a real pain to find. You won't be using any web-based account systems like found in Genshin Impact, so go ahead and pop open the game to get started. To redeem item codes, you'll need to do the following:

  • Select either "Play as Survivor" or "Play as Killer" at the main menu
  • Select "Store" in the bottom left of the queue screen, where you select your Killer or Survivor
  • Make sure you're on the "Featured" tab, which you can find at the top of the screen
  • In the right corner, you'll see "Redeem Code" - that's the menu you need

And that's it, that's the magic place you're looking for. You can paste your codes for Bloodpoints or items, like charms for your characters, into this box and you'll immediately reap the rewards.

Most of Behaviour's codes expire quickly, so make sure you don't sit on them for too long. But, Dead By Daylight's lovely LGTBQ+ pride month charm is always available for free. If you waꦫnt to test the system out now and show off your pride, you can type "PRIDE" into the redeem code menu and score your own rainbow flag accessory.
