Asymmetrical multiplayer horror game 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dead by Daylight thrives in large part because of its roster of menacing Killers, who h♏unt Survivors to appease the horrific Entity. While the original Killers are quite compelling, what really attracts players are the licensed Killers that stalk the Entity’s Trials.
These Killers are recognizable faces from legendary horror media, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:like Bubba Sawyer from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:or Michael Myers in the Halloween films. This opens up all sorts of tantalizing possibilities, so we’ve put🎐 to🌱gether a list of Killers that we’d love to see in DBD and some ideas about how they’d work.
7 ꩲ Candyman🦹 (Candyman)
No disrespect to Jordan Peele, but the version of the hook-handed, bee summoning specter of Cabrini Green that DBD deserves♔ should be based on the 1992 version of Candyman starring Tony Todd.
Powers-wise, there are a few directions they🌠 can go with. Survivors could say Candyman five times at these mirrors, summoning him and giving him a substantial power boost. A major element of his lore is that he is fueled by fear, so perhaps as Survivors get injured and hooked, he becomes more powerful.
Of course, bees and honey would be a major part of his theming and i❀nflicting his own horrific death on Survivors would be a fitting Mori.
6 Springtrap (ꦦFive Nights At Freddy’s)
There’s a vocal contingent of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Five Nights At Freddy's fans who have been clamoring for an animatronic Killer in DBD for a while. W🥃ith the release of the FNAF mo🌼vie looming ahead, there is no better time to release this mechanical monstrosity in the Entity’s trial than this year.
Springtrap would likely be a stalker-type Killer like Ghostface or The Shape. Since the FNAF games like to ratchet up the tension for players, instead of getting a buff from stalking Survivors, instead Survivors are inflicted with a debuff. As the paranoia and tension ramps up, simple tasks like generators and healing becꦦome more difficult. During chase, their field of view would darken and Springtrap would b🧜e harder to see, allowing him to set up the perfect jump scare.
5 Pamela Vorhees (Friday the 13th) ꧙
Dead by Daylight fans and horror aficionados have been clamoring for iconic slasher Jason Vorhees to join the cast of DBD. Unfortunately, because of the contentious IP disputes over Jason, we’ll likely never see this crossover happen. Arguably, it’s for the best, since Mr. Vorhees has left such an indelible mark on horror that he effectively exists in the game already, fragmented across Killers like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Trapper, The Shape, and even 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Huntress.
However, with Pamela, Jason’s mother, and the villain of the very first movie, we have potential to tread new ground. Just as bl♊oodthirsty a♒s her son, she uses a collection of weapons to dispatch her victims in her starring role in the original film. Of particular interest is her skill with archery, since there aren’t any archers in DBD and pincushioning Survivors sounds like a good time.
4 ꦑ 🔯 The Slender Man (Internet Folklore)
The Slender Man is a modern classic in internet horror, so it would only be fitting for him to slide into Survivors’ peripherals as he stalks them in a match. Having a rich, pre-established, and at times confl🌳icting lore means that BHVR can pick and choose elements to make the right Killer without coming off as inauthentic.
Likely, finding his eight pages will be a major part of his kit, with consequences for whoever has the most pages, but even worse consequences for leaving them unfound. As a creature of the internet, wꦜith powers that screw with media, there could be a lot of fun in messing with the players’ interfaces.
3 Pennywise the Dancing C🦄lown (IT)
Given that the Deadlights who take on the form of Pennywise have a dizzying array of powers – telekinesis, teleportations, shapeshifting to name a few – he’ll likely get his wings clipped similar to what happened to Freddy Kreuger when he joineꦏd the roster.
Since the most iconicꦯ form that It takes is a clown, for the Trials, it will likely stay as Pennywise. With that in mind, If he were in DBD, he’d likely have powers that play around with the balloons he often leaves for The Losers’ Club, and the building unease that comes from having a killer clown stalking you.
2 🃏 The Tall Man (Phantasm) 𓆉
A bit of a d🍨eep cut, The Tall Man comes from the cult classic horror film Phantasm. Though the film isn’t well known outside of horror buffs, Angus Scrimm’s portrayal of the mortician turned interdimensional horror cut such a menacing figure and was so interesting that he ൩deserves representation in DBD.
Though The Tall Man had a plethora of powers, he’s most likely remembered for the flying metal spheres equipped with deadly weapons that he would sic on his victims. Whether they would work as automatic sentinels to hunt Survivors or would be actively controlled by the Tall Man, they would no doubt add an interesting wrinkle t🌊o DBD’s gameplay.
1 ﷺ Lady Dimitrescu (Resident Evil Village)
Capcom and BHVR aren’t exactly strange bedfellows, with several 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil characters making up a chunk of the DB♒D cast. So why should the illust🗹rious, charming, and deadly Lady Dimitrescu be left out of the party?
She would likely operate similarly to how she does in the Mercenaries mode of Resident Evil Vil⛦lage, gaining Thrill as she hits Survivors which she can expend for some neat powers.💯 She could summon Cadou flies to inconvenience Survivors or dash and slam them to the ground. While throwing a vanity at her targets might be a little cartoony for DBD, summoning one of her three daughters to attack Survivors when her Thrill reaches a fever pitch would be awesome.
