While games and their content are often judged by their all-around mechanics, there are ways to appreciate some of the smaller elements of games. Unfortunately, this wasn't exactly the case for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dead by Daylight's Pyramid Head, whose buttocks' size was reduced, to the dismay of some fans.
Twitter user @wheel_able pointed out the change in a few images displaying views of Pyramid Head's backside.
The screenshots can be seen below.
The first couple of images seemingly show Pyramid Head with his pre-nerf buttocks, which appears fully-featured. However, the third image captioned with anguish over the alleged patch shows Pyramid's backside looking a little flatter.
It's unknown why Pyramid Head's gluteus maximus was so round and defined to begin with. After all, Pyramid Head's appearance in Silent Hill 2 didn't capitalize upon any physical trait beside his head. However, Dead by Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive must have felt inclined to give Pyramid Head a distinguished backside comparꦚed to the other vi﷽llains.
But, the nerfing is also curious as well. It is possible that it wasn't altered and Pyramid Head's stance in the third image doesn't illustrate his physical qualities the way the first and second screenshots do. Either way, a group of Dead by Daylight players feel that Pyramid Head's physical nerfing eliminated a big part of his appeal in the game, no pun intended.
Although Silent Hill 2's Pyramid Head has lost his luster since the horror classic's initial release, his addition is still welcomed. Further, Pyramid Head stands among 168澳洲🦩幸运5开奖网:h🐟orror villains from several properties that have made their way into Dead by Daylight. These include Michael Myers from the Halloween franchise, the Demagorgon from Stranger Things, and Freddy Krueger from the Nightmare on Elm Street series.
Dead by Daylight continues to perform strongly, with over 1 million players downloading the game's mobile iteration only two days after its launch. However, while it breathes life into the Silent Hill franchise, Konami's classic horror series remains dormant. Rumors hint at the franchise coming back, but nothing concrete suggests its return anytime soon. Hopefully, with the next generation, Silent Hill will return in some form if only to attempt to dethrone Resident Evil's recent streak of success.
