Behavior Interactive has been on a roll lately with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dead by Daylight, with an outstanding Fourth Anniversary event, the arrival of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Silent Hill franchise, and this week with cross-play seamlessly bringing all people into the fog to survive, or die, together. Now the developer is teasing the arrival of the next killer with Chapter XVII, and the theories are piling up about who will next serve the entit⭕y.
As always, players have donned their detective caps to figure out who the next killer will be. The most popular and supported idea is that we are seeing the Alchem🍰ist in the trailer, a character revealed during last October’s Hallowed Blight event. In the video below, we see the Alchemist extract fluid with a syringe, and in the teaser above, we hear a glass break before the mystery killer begins to groan. Is this the same syringe injected into flesh, and then shattered on the ground?
In the reveal with the teaser trailer, Behavior Interactive states, “Something is festering in the Fog”༒, which could also refer to the Alchemist’s body undergoing some horrific transformation, a body with open wounds and sores forming pus, becoming septic.
Another popular theory is that we are seeing the arrival of a Werewolf into Dead by Daylight. In the teaser trailer, the shadow is clearly showing something aki🌠n to fur emerging from the individual’s back. Or it could even be a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde situation. We can only speculate for now, but the notion of a transforming Killer does seem to be a common theme among fans.
With that said, Behavior Interactive has a history of providing teasers that are actually useless in helping faꦺns figure out who the next killer might be, and are instead closely tied to their theme, making the connection clear once revealed but not before.
For example, in the teaser for Chapter XV, the video below featured a chain being dragged, and then being pulled with blood on one end. Once it was revealed to be connected to the Deathslinger, one could see the connection, but beforehand it would have been impossible to speculate about an original creation brandishing a custom-made rifle speargun with chains. Even typing that out seems ridiculous, but that is exact๊ly what occurred.
For now, speculation is all that fans havꩲe, and there are sure to be more details released soon!
