How To Unlock New Twisted Masquerade Masks

During these limited-time events, you were usually required to escape with a specific item as a survivor to get limited-time cosmetics, but the killer just needed to pick the item up, which felt a bit unfair. Whenever you finish a challenge in the event-exclusive Tome, you can get up to 100 Gilded Trinkets. These can be used to buy the new masks through the event screen on the left side of the main menu. You can get up to six masks here, 🍒costing you 150 Trinkets for each one. These are equally distributed between survivors and killers.

How To Use Invitation Charges In Trial

While the method to get the new masks might've been taken to the Tome, this doesn't mean that we've seen the last of unique anniversary Invitations. This mechanic was the main reason for the last anniversary event to be delightful, and they're making a return this year with some new abilities for both sides.

Unlike last year, you won't be able to find these Invitations in a regular game. You'll instead have to queue in an event-exclusive mode that you can choose in the main menu. You can pick any role you want to play in this mode, and you also get a 50 percent Bloodpoint boost 🅷apart from the regular 100 per🍸cent incentive for the side with fewer players.

Unlike last year, the Invitation pedestals won't disappear after you claim one from it this time. Instead, it'll just spawn a new Invitation after a few seconds.

Moreover, the number of pedestals you can find ac♕ross the map at the same ti🐈me has been increased.

Once you acquire an Invitation, you can use some exclusive abilities based on your role at any point before the Endgame Collapse. You can only use one ability every few seconds, and your Invitation charges also get replenished automatically with time. You can hold a maximum of tw📖o charges at any given moment.

The Twisted Masquerade 2024 event also features a brand-new gameplay mechanic called Bag Of Tryks. This mechanic contains a total of nine random effects that can trigger when certain conditions are met. One effect triggers at the start of the trial, with subsequent effects triggering whenever a generator is finished or a survivor is hooked for the first time.

You can see the current and the upcoming effects on the top-left side of your screen, along with the charges needed for the next trigger. Here are all the abilities you can encounter:

New Event Offerings And Items

Apart from all the new gimmicks mentioned above, the Twisted Masquerade event also sees the return of some offerings. There's one brand-new offering called Screech Cobbler, and both killers and survivors can get tons of it while leveling up their bloodwebs. Upon use, it'll grant 1♉08 percent extra Bloodpoints to everyoꦚne in the next trial.

This effect can stack if multiple people bring Screech Cobbler, giving you a massive Bloodpoint boost if everyone brings it.

Apart from the Bloodpoints, the offering also increases the number of chests spawned by one and the radius of the Invitations' aura re🍰vealed to you.

Other than that, survivors can also find anniversary Flashlights, Toolboxes, and Med-Kits in their bloodwebs. All these items including the cake offering can be used even after the event ends, but you won't get them anymore, so make s🌌ure you save at least on♛e as a souvenir!
