168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dead Cells is a roguelike that fans can sink into for a seemingly infinite number of hours. The variety of weapons, enemies, and levels (which Motion Twin is consistently adding more of) makes for a game that never gets old — even when it sends you all the way back to the beginning over and over again. And there is no question it will send you back to the first stage several times before you finally dodge roll your way to one of the game's final bosses.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:It's an undeniably difficult game, with no shortage of frustrating enemies and stage designs♔ with each new level. But some levels stand out amongst all the rest as true controller-smashers.

9 𓂃 Stilt Village ꦜ

For new players, Stilt Village is very likely where you'll be heading after defeating the first boss of the game at Black Bridge. Some might say this is where the real Dead Cells begins. The zombies are more difficult here, and they spawn multiple smaller enemies when killed that will teleport to wherever you try to run.

Without a doubt, the most frustrating enemy that lands Stilt V♍illage on this list is the Pirate Captains. They have a 𓆉lot of health, deal massive damage when they hit you, and cover the entire level.

8 Forgotten Sepulche🔯r

Dead Cells screenshot of Forgotten Sepulcher with Inquisitor

Forgotten Sepulcher is guaranteed to kill unfamiliar players several times with a frustrating and vague mechanic present only on this level. This stage is engulfed in darkness, and only by making it to various light sources spread throughout can the player ensure they don't become stuck, surrounded by enemies swarms of enemies, and unable to see. What's worse, if you spend too long away from a light source, the darkness begins to drain away your health bar. It's slow and subtle at first, but before long it saps your health so quickly that you barely have any time to react and try to reach safety.

This level is hard and incredibly frustrating for players who aren't aware of the mechanic beforehand, but it lands low on this list because it becomes much easier once you're informed.

7 Mausoleum

Dead Cells screenshot Mausoleum The Scarecrow boss

Mausoleum is the first boss level on this list. Not every boss level made it, which isn't to say that every boss in Dead Cells isn't a challenge. They all present new and unique ways to kill you, but the bosses on this list can kill you over and over again even when you think you know their patterns and have beaten them in past runs. The Scarecrow on Mausoleum has all manner of destructive moves to whittle down your health and make the battlefield as limiting as possible.

6 𝕴 High Peak Castle

At High Peak Castle, there are no more grindable enemies. No simple zombies or worms to wail through and make you feel powerful. Every enemy on this level is an absolute pain to deal with. They deal high amounts of damage, they're difficult to dodge, and if you're not careful, the Guardian Knights will pull you into a Tornado Spin and send you back to the beginning faster than you can say "We're not in Kansas anymore".

It's a level many players choose to quickly dodge roll their way through rather than risk massive loss of health or death due to a single poorly-timed attack or dodge.

5 Throne Room ꧂

Dead Cells screenshot of Throne Room with The Hand Of The King

Throne Room is where the Hand Of The King boss fight takes place. It's one of the more unforgiving bosses, and learning the patterns won't change the small battlefield with traps on either side and a plethora of enemies throwing out all kinds of attacks in what little space you have.

At one point in time, this stage would be much higher on the list for the hardest level in the game. But Motion Twin just won't stop putting out new content for this game, and each DLC finds new ways to ramp up the difficulty and thrash veteran players all over again.

4 ๊ Li🦩ghthouse

Dead Cells screenshot of Lighthouse The Servants

In Lighthouse, you keep thinking it can't get any worse. And then it keeps getting worse. The level is a collective boss fight against The Servants. They're introduced one after the other as you scale upward, and each one is quicker and deadlier than the last. You must face off against all of them at once at the top.

It's an endless series of attacks from all sides that'll kill you in a second if you even take a moment to blink. This area absolutely deserves its spot near the top of this list, with only a couple levels topping the frustration and number of deaths Lighthouse will give you.

3 Observatory 🍷

Dead Cells screenshot Observatory with The Collector

Without a doubt, the most disheartening and rage-quit-inducing feature in Dead Cells is being sent back to the start every time you die. The farther you make it, the more it feels like a stomach punch when you're in Prisoners' Quarters all over again. Two of the final three entries are the furthest you can possibly progress in the game as of right now.

In Observatory, you fight The Collector. He's insanely fast, he throws out multiple fatal attacks in quick succession, and he builds your malaise infection level quickly. It's a fantastically climactic boss to end the game on and cements Dead Cells as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of the best roguelikes out there.

2 The Crown

Dead Cells screenshot of The Crown with The Queen

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Get your dodge roll and deployables ready to fight the Queen. This boss just will not stop attacking. There is next-to-no downtime to counter or heal. The Queen will just attack you relentlessly until you have no more health to stand on. And just like Observatory, The Crown is the furthest you can progress in the game — adding so much to the heartbreak every time you're sent back to the beginning after coming so incredibly close. So throw down a deployable with big damage, dodge like your life depends on it, and hope for the best.

1 Derelict Distillery ༒

Dead Cells screenshot Derelict Distillery Living Barrels

It may surprise some who have yet to play Derelict Distillery that an enemy level is ranked the most difficult, even above all of the boss levels. It will not surprise anyone who has ever had the misfortune of goin💝g through Derelict Distillery.

This leve♉l is avoided like it has malaise. The Living Barrels are without a doubt some of the most frustrating enemies ever put in the game, and they just keep coming in wave aft✱er wave to explode and deal massive amounts of damage. Players entering this level for the first time should not be surprised to hear themselves going "What happened?" after watching their health bar go from full to 0 in no time at all.
