Dead Cells 😼is having yet another free content update. When will this 🙈game end? Nobody is quite sure.
If you thought Motion Twin was finally done with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dead Cells after last June’s 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Update of Plenty, you were wrong. As far as we can tell, Dead Cells will never die. It will just keep getting free updates as it makes its way to ꦺevery digital device known to man. Your fridge, your microwave, your car--everything will have Dead Cells. Dead Cells is all.
Here’s the latest news on yet another free Dead Cells update. It’s called Barrels o' Fun and it adds… barrels. Enough barrels that you could legitimately confuse Dead Cells for the new Donkey Kong game. Enough barrels that Microsoft might send a C&D for infringing on their Sea of Thieves copyright. Enough barrels that I’m honestly questioning if Motion Twin has run out of ideas or if they’re just getting started on their de🌳scent into madness.
Anyway, Barrels o' Fun adds a ne꧑w level: the Derelict Distillery. This new alternate path to High Peak Castle is a series of hallways filled with barrels covered in cobwebs along wi🔥th some very drunk bats.
Along with the new level comes some new enemies, which are--you guessed it--barrels. One of them is literally a barrel with legs that jumps at you. Another is a scary golem tha♋t throws barrels at you. It's just barrels all the way down.
Luckily, some new weapons allow you to throw barrels back. A new freaky barrel launc𓄧her will let you get revenge on all these barrel-based opponents, while a barrel tesla mine will shock all those dang bats back into sobriety.
Also, there's a brand new 8-bit style soundtrack if yꦿou prefer to get🌜 super retro with your Metroidvania games.
Barrels o' Fun is out now on PC and releases sometime in the summer of 2020 on consoles, which doesn’t leave Motion Twin a lot of time to release t🅷his thing. Then again, they’re rarely late with a release, so I guess we’ll see this console update com🦹ing in the next few weeks.
