10 C🌜hain🎶 Up Survivors
One of the Cenobite's main ways to inflict his brand of exquisite agony on Survivors is through summoning spectral chains that chase and bind victims. Allowing this spooky stalking menace ample enough time to close the gap and do some serious damage. Best used on Survivors within short-range as long-range targets will have usually broken free by the time you’ve run up to them, Chains reduce Survivor movement speed, and with upgrades and add-ons can often stop someone dead in their tracks.
Even though it has a cooldown time of five seconds per shot, and can be blocked by physical obstacles like walls, windows, and pallets, you should be firing out the chains as often as you can. The more chains you can latch onto someone, the slower they will go so it’s always in your benefit to go the whole hog and be liberal with its casting. Also, it’s worth loading up with Greasy Black Lens as that lets you see the aura of Survivors for six seconds after hitting them with ch☂ains, so you can keep track of targets that might have momentarily slipped out of range.
9 ꧃ Get Hooked On Hooks
Hooking other players as a Killer should be your basic bread and butter. Whilst its success can be a bit inconsistent depending on ho🍸w well the current te♒am of Survivors are working together, with Pinhead, loading up people on these rusty implements like a psychopathic Butcher should be your constant goal.
Pinhead can’t do a lot of damage on his own, so stringing someone up as often as you can is your only real way to♕ thin out the herd. Mixing in Perks that apply debuffs for hooking Survivors such as Scourge Hook: Gift Of Pain, is also worth considering as it applies Haemorrhage and Mangled when someones unhooked, turning what can be an annoying inconvenience for other players into something much more problematic.
8 Protಌect The Box
Whenever the team at Behaviour Interactive adds a new Killer in Dead By Daylight, especially ones from pop culture, they always bring along something iconic from whatever franchise they’re from. In this case, it’s the sinister Lament Configuration Puzzle Box, and in the Cenobite's hands it’s more than just a pretty little trinket. If unfound by Survivors it starts a Chain Hunt which harasses players with chains constantly, causing them to be slowed down, interrupted in tasks and scream which gives away their position. So you want to ensure it’s never found.
Whilst you can’t see the aura of the box, Survivors can, but if you keep finding a group of them in a particular area then there’s a chance it may be nearby and it’s worth hanging around there just in case. To keep it hidden, try using the Iridescent Lament Configuration add-on which limits the view of the box to 16 meters. Although this is more useful on bigger maps as on smaller arenas it’s pretty pointless. Also, i🅘t’s worth using the add-on Larry’s Remains as it considerably boosts the time required to solve the box, crucial seconds that you can use to sne🍬ak up on someone unaware and start another chase.
7 Follow The Path O🐼f Pain
There are a lot of great Perks in Dead By Daylight that you can load up your Killer with, and for Cenobite you’re going to want to go for as many debuffs as you possibly can. Just like in the movies, Pinhead's whole shtick is about causing untold pain and suffering to whoever he’s hunting down. So you constantly want to be hooking up Survivors and causing as much damage as you possibly can.
You can enhance his ability to make others scream in agony with the Original P𝓡ain Perk as with this active, Survivors that break free from chains suffer the Deep Wound effect. Which means that they’re badly damaged, limp, and require healing to stand any chance at staying alive. So be brutal, be unforgiving and show everyone🍬 the true path of pain.
6 ♍ Bring Along A Slice Of Frank
On top of perks, there’s a buf🌸fet banquet of twisted demonic delights that the Cenobite can bring along with him. A lot of them are incredibly powerful and it’s highly recomme✃nded that you tuck a few of them away in your pocket before the next trial begins.
One particularly delicious little morsel you’ll want to have in your lunchbox is a Slice of Frank. This chunk of Frank's facial tissue is horrifying to look at and it gives the Survivors the Exhausted status effect when they’re carrying the Lament Configuration Box. This means players that try to hold the box hostage are easier to hunt down. Just like how Frank is torn into pieces and his accursed chunks cause woe to others in the original Hellraiser movie, here too he can be a pretty nasty thorn in the side of Survivors.
5 Ce♓nobites Are ꧟All About Slowdown
Each Killer in Dead By Daylight has its own unique playstyle. For example, the Oni is all about hard rush downs, whilst Pig is about being sneaky and Trapper is into, well, traps. The Cenobites meta is about 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:map slowdown and interference. They’ll rarely be able to wipe an entire team o🌃ut on their own, so running out the clock should be your goal.
That may seem at first like quite the Herculean task, but it’s not that difficult to just be a constant pain by bringing in perks like Pop Goes The Wease♏l, Ruin Hex, and Corrupt Intervention. Teachable at level 30, these will hamper the generator repair progress of Survivors.
4 Be Aggressive ܫ
The Cenobite is at his best when used aggressively. Whilst the likes of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Demogorgon Killer is more aboutꦯ passive hit-and-run tactics, Cenobite should 🧜be out front and center harrying down anyone you can find.
Since he’s focused on slowdown and running interfe🔯rence against the Survivor team, you’re pretty much encouraged to be out there chaining up who you can. Being a constant irritation and keeping other players on their toes and away from thꦐe Puzzle Box should be your priority if you want to utilize him well.
3 Don’t Teleport Too Of♏ten
Whenever a Survivor starts to mess around with the Lament Configuratiಞon, as the Cenobite yo♍u have the ability to teleport to them and retaliate, but you shouldn’t always do this right away as it can often be a waste of time.
Often Survivors will grab the box and use it to try and bait you away to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:hidden corners of the map. Teleporting after them takes time since the animation needs a few seconds to play out. This is time you can instead have spent putting players on hooks, hitting them w൲ith your melee, or chasing dow🏅n and chaining up others. So as helpful as the teleport is, hold off on it unless you absolutely have to or if it benefits the amount of pressure you’re placing on the map as a Killer.
2 He’s The Quietest K𒅌ille𒉰r
One of the most disappointing things about the Cenobite in Dead By Daylight is that he’s the quietest Killer in the game. ꧂Unfortunately not on purpose, he did have a whole bunch of great voice-over lines all recorded by Dough Bradley, the original actor for Pinhead, but a lot of them were removed so his awesome acting skills and iconic lines sadly go missed out.
This frustrating change was made by the developers because of complications with the audio files, according to an official statement made by the team. But this could just mean the license for it expired since Dead By Daylight is no stranger to licensing issues and has had to remove content because of it in the past. So use his unintended silence to🦂 your advantage to sneak up on unaware Survivors.
1 𝕴 Enjoy Yourself 🧸
Whilst other Killers are all about dominating the map and being the best psychopathic and violent murderer in the ranking tables, for the Cenobite you should really just focus on having a fun time with them instead. He's classed as a Hard level Killer, so it will take some time to master them and this challenge can be a wall that many may bounce off, and struggling to try and be a perfect Killer with him can negatively impact your overall enjoyment.
Other Killers that teleport also arguably do a better job than the Cenobite, like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Hag and The Spirit for example. So if you’re going to play as Pinhead, you’re honestly going to get the most enjoyment out of him by just having fun with it and letting lo🥂ose your sadis𒆙tic side.
