Dead Island 2 has finally arrived thanks to a 4Chan leak.
No, this isn’t the real Dead Island 2. As every 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dead Island fan knows, the game is currently in development with Dambusters Studios and still doesn’t have a release date set, although we have some hints that we might actually see a finished game 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:along with the release of next-g𝐆en consoles.
What we have here is a leaked early development version from Yager, the original studio that started working on Dead Island 2 all the way back in 2014. According to , this version of Dead Island 2 is from June of 2015, which was right before publisher Deep Silver fired them and handed over development to Sumo Digital. Then Sumo got axed and Dambusters tooꦫk over in 2019.
As you can tell, Dead Island 2 is having quite a bit of development trouble.
Leaked footage of the game comes courtesy of , which showcases just how in-development Dead Island 2 was at this point. You can see a whole bunch of flat green blocks that are used as placeholders for textures and models that hadn’t be♎en implemented yet.
We’re still waiting on an actual release date for Dead Island 2, but this might very well be the most anyone ever get✱s.
