Over the past few years, Capcom has proven with Resident Evil, Phoenix Wright and many others that it's one of the best in the business when it ꦑcomes to remasters and remakes. It's also asked fans a bunch of times what series they want to see return, which always ༒sees the usual suspects like Dino Crisis, Devil May Cry, and, my personal favourite, Dead Rising pop up.

Even with so many fans asking for Dead Rising to make a comeback after the fourth game seemingly killed the series for good, I never thought we'd actually see the day when it returned. I'm very happy to be proven wrong, however, as Capcom has just announced out of nowhere that the original Dead Rising is getting a new "deluxe remaster".
Dead Rising Is Basically Getting A Remake
(which hasn't been used for quite some time) a trailer was posted for the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster that confirms its existence and shows off its new look. It's not clear how much of the game has been remastered for the new style, but we can see that Frank West looks incredibly different than he did in the original release.
It's not just Frank's look that is different for the Deluxe Remaster, though, as we also get to hear a little bit of his voice, which sadly doesn't see the return of TJ Rotolo. It's not clear why Frank's voice actor has been changed, but it's likely so that he more closely matches with the version of the character we see in Dead Rising 4.
It's too early to tell, but Frank's voice actor sounds pretty similar to how he did in Dead Rising 4, so Capcom might have decided to stick with him.
We don't currently know when the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is going to release, but the way that the trailer is framed seems to imply that it's coming at some point in 2024. Capcom has promised that more information is going to be revealed soon, so it's likely that we get another look at or during .
