While I personally loved getting to re-experience Dead R🃏ising with a fresh coat of paint and far better game🍒play mechanics, it does seem like a bit more new could have been added. That even appears to have been the plan at one point, as a reliable Dead Rising insider found evidence that the infamous B🍬eam Gun was finally going to be made useable.

Dead Rising's Beam Gun Is Finally Working In Deluxe Remaster

Back when Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster first launched, Dead Rising historian STiP0 discovered that a remodelled version ꦿof the Beam﷽ Gun was hidden in the game's files, suggesting the developers intended to make it playable at one point or another. Whi𓂃le STiP0 was able ꦍto get it to spawn in the remaster, it's just as useless as it was back in the original game.

That's not the case anymore, though. , Nexus Mods . The mod works by 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:replacing t𓆉he unlockab𒉰le Real Mega Buster weapon with the Beam Gun, complete with its original firing s💃ound.

To make things even cooler, countmosh has customised the mesh to reduce how much it clips when wielded by Frank, as well as tweaking the UI and other visual elements to make it feel as offi🔥cial as possible. We don't actually know what the Beam Gun's projectile would have looked like, but this version uses an edited charge blast from the Mega Buster while using the fire rate left in the files for the Beam Gun.

Funnily enough, STiP0 actually had a hand in the mod as well, as countmosh confirms that he was sent the original sound effects by him and made him aware ofꦫ it in the 𝄹first place.

To put it simply, this mod is the closest t꧃hing we've ever gotten to the Beam Gun being easily accessible in Dead Rising, and even has all of the variables that the original weapon would have had. It's a shame we never got an official versi༺on, but countmosh's mod is easily the next best thing.
