EA Motive's Senior Producer Phil Ducharme has reassured fans that the newly announced 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dead Space r🧔emake will 🤪not contain microtransactions and never will.
In an interview with , Ducharme claims that the team currently working on the Dead Space remake is using the franchise's past mistakes to ensure the best game possible. Ducharme goes on to explain that the game will include elements from Dead Space 2 and 3 to improve the original, but specifically states that microtransactions will not be making that jump.
“We're looking at what can be taken and reinjected into the first game from a future standpoint," explains Ducharme. "We're also learning from mistakes such as microtransactions, which we will not have, for instance, in our game.”
If you were to ask a Dead Space fan which game in the series is the weakest, Dead Space 3 would probably be their answer. Dead Space 3 was highly controversial when it was first released, with many claiming that the game's weapon crafting system was set up in a way that would push players towards the game's microtransactions.
Thankfully, EA has been staying away from microtransacti𝓰ons in its single-player experiences. As IGN points out in its article, the developers behind Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order also made it very clear that the game would not contain🐼 microtransactions at any point. At the time of writing, that promise remains kept.
In case you missed the news, a remake/reboot of the original Dea♕d Space was recently confirmed during this year's EA Play Live, with Star Wars Squadrons developer EA Motive at the helm. This comes after 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:several rumors claimed that a new Dead Space game is in development and that it's inspired by Capcom's Resident Evil remakes.
Unfortunately, we only got a short teaser trailer during the show and no release date has yet been confirmed. However, we do know that the Dead Space remake is exclusive to next-gen systems and that the game will be running on EA's new Frostbite game engine.
